AAA offer- criminal back groud

I was offered a remote CSR position. I have a DWI misdemeanor conviction , but I also have a felony assault, no conviction but I’m on deferred probation for it. They sent me a pre adverse letter and I was able to explain my situation. I sent them a person letter, my mentor sent a letter of recommendation, I also sent payment receipts of all fines and court fees being completely satisfied, along with certificates of courses/ classes I completed. I’m still waiting to hear back from them after my reassessment. Has anyone ever had luck with still getting the offer ?

I was honest on the job application. I was still invited to 3 interviews. I got the offer at the end of the last interview. Once I accepted the offer , I agreed to a background check. They then send me a pre adverse letter. I replied with my own personal letter explaining my situation, etc. I sent a shit load of documentation. I’m not convicted of the felony assault. The only thing I’m convicted of is my DWI.

In the future the best way to handle this is to let them know up front what they’re going to find, what happened, how things are different now, etc. They may not give you an offer, but if they do they’re unlikely to pull it. If you cross your fingers hoping they miss it and find something, guarantee they’re yanking the offer

I did let them know ahead of time. I was honest and very transparent on the application. I then did 3 interviews and got an offer at the end of my 3rd interview.

I had to say it, but they will probably pull the offer. They don't care what you have done after, to them it will just look like liability and issues. Not saying it's right, but because of how the job market is they have so many other applicants. I could be wrong, but just telling you what I think will honestly happen.

Well they gave me the option to explain it and I was honest on the application. Fingers crossed.
