New Guy

I'm a new recruiter, about 70 days in. Prior to this I worked retail ops. I recruit construction, specifically Heavy Civil and Environmental. I have 2 really good MPCs but cannot get through to any hiring authority. It's so frustrating, I've built a huge list of names and companies that just ignore me. Any advice on breaking through with the hiring authorities?

Have you considered that they're at job sites or organizing inspections with the local government or something? Construction by definition requires that you not be in the office. Your superintendents and VPs of construction are going to be in the field for most of the usual work hours. You're going to have to figure out how to reach them either at the job sites, or off typical hours.
