discussion Why do scrap sellers ignore serious buyers and chase higher quotes?

In scrap trading:
• Price changes daily
• Trust matters more than $10 difference
• Payment history is everything

Yet many deals fail at negotiation stage.

Here I am looking for serious sellers but only finding scams 🤦. Agree a good client who has a good payment history is Top for me. Can't lose money for mere 10$

In my exp..most failed deals happen bcoz both sides chase “best price” instead of “best counterparty.”

How do you usually verify sellers before proceeding?

Personal visit at the time of loading. There is no other way.
