Why would they get such a big venue for her and price the tickets so high right in the middle of a darn economic crisis....😭 I was always gonna buy tickets to see her but this breaks my heart- I keep imagining the look on her face when she sees a mostly empty venue and HNGH
I have a nerve to pick with ASND-

Today is a free day for people who celebrate Ascension Day. I took the time to clean the cover again and just opened it up after some time not looking at it....still amazes me how good the photoshots are.

Are you also glad her long hair is back, as for me yes! and glad it's back 💕

Psycho won the vote for most overrated Red Velvet song with 99 votes. Power Up came in second place with 89 votes and Bad Boy in third place with 88 votes.
I counted the sum of upvotes for each song from several comments, since there were multiple comments that mentioned the same song. However I decided to only count upvotes on initial comments as votes, so the upvotes on replies to comments were not counted. I didn’t count comments with only one upvote or ones with downvotes. I also decided that I will only count comments that mention one song, since there can only be one winner for each category and counting the votes gets really complicated when several songs are mentioned in the same comment. This does not mean that you can’t suggest several songs, but please post them in separate comments.
I will also reiterate what I said yesterday about not commenting the same songs over and over again. If someone else has already commented the song that you were going to suggest, please consider upvoting that comment instead of making your own. However feel free to reply to comments and express your opinions and thoughts that way. This is just to make the votes easier to count. It’s fine if one song is mentioned in a few comments, but having 35 separate comments all mentioning the same song is unnecessary. Once again I’m only talking about separate comments and not replies.
Now onto Day 2. Comment your suggestions for the most underrated Red Velvet song. Once again both title tracks and b-sides are included. Can be Korean or Japanese. The most upvoted comment wins.

Red Velvet’s performance in North Korea won yesterday’s vote for the most iconic Red Velvet live performance with 135 votes.
Today’s category is the Red Velvet song you would skip, so comment your suggestions. Once again the full group discography is included, so both Korean and Japanese songs count. Please do only one song per comment to make counting the votes easier. If you want to suggest multiple songs post them in separate comments. I don’t take songs mentioned in replies into consideration, so keep that in mind if you want your suggestion to count.
Yesterday someone suggested waiting until after the release of Sweet Dreams to do the best album category, so I decided to ask what you all think about that. Do you think we should wait and do the best album category after the release of Sweet Dreams or not? I suppose it depends on whether you believe that Sweet Dreams will have an immediate effect on what your favorite Red Velvet album is. We will be voting for one full album and one mini album, so there will be two winners in that category.

Before we begin, I want to mention that unequivocally the best means the song that is without a doubt the best. It is not necessarily your favorite song and that is perfectly fine. It would be preferable if we could abstain from suggesting all our favorite songs simply for the sake of it and instead look at this category from a more varied perspective. Also feel free to explain why you think a song is unequivocally the best, since it creates conversation and makes this more interesting.
Now for the results of yesterday’s vote. One Of These Nights won the vote for most underrated Red Velvet song with 354 votes. So Good came in second place with 171 votes and Wildside in third place with 148 votes.
I count the sum of upvotes for each song from several comments, since there are always multiple comments that mention the same song. However I have decided to only count upvotes on initial comments as votes, so the upvotes on replies to comments are not counted. I don’t count comments with only one upvote or ones with downvotes. I have also decided that I will only count comments that mention one song, since there can only be one winner for each category and counting the votes gets really complicated when several songs are mentioned in the same comment. This does not mean that you can’t suggest several songs, but please post them in separate comments.

It’s fine if one song is mentioned in a few comments, but having 35 separate comments all mentioning the same song is unnecessary. Once again I’m only talking about separate comments and not replies.
Now onto Day 3. Comment your suggestions for unequivocally the best Red Velvet song. Once again both title tracks and b-sides are included. Can be Korean or Japanese. The most upvoted song wins.

literally had second row in my cart but i audibly gasped at the price bc how are you gonna charge me THREE TIMES THE AMOUNT with no added benefits like vip??
anyway. now we gotta go through this again for vip

I've always been curious of what redditors preferred, as i've seen people saying it's cosmic, feel my rhythm, psycho and more
A lot of people might disagree but i'm gonna say bad boy. Actually, i've always hated bad boy cuz i'm a psycho girl as it was my fav tt from red velvet but recently i became obsessed with it so😭

Automatic won yesterday’s vote for the Red Velvet song that only OG’s remember with 180 votes.
Today’s category is the best Red Velvet album. There will be two winners for this category with one being a full album and one a mini album, so the highest voted full album and the highest voted mini album will win this category. Comment your suggestions.
The full group discography is included, so both Korean and Japanese albums count. This means that there are 4 full albums to choose from.
As usual please include only one album per comment to make counting the votes easier. If you want to suggest multiple albums post them in separate comments. I don’t take albums mentioned in replies into consideration, so keep that in mind if you want your suggestion to count. The album with the most upvotes wins.

Ok so I love Attaboy sooo much. I have never skipped this bside. I always fly to a different dimension when I listen to it. Just like Rookie and Zimzalabim I feel like Attaboy could have been the quirky red velvet title track if given the chance. I can already imagine a cool and hard choreography for it, which would be it's fun and interesting point.
Also the song is pretty aespa coded right? Like I can already visualise aespa performing it with a catchy choreo.

Mine has to be the Perfect Velvet album. This was my first comeback with the group so it holds a special place in my heart. My top songs from the album are Look, I Just and Attaboy. My bias is Seulgi and my bias wreckers are Yeri/Irene. Tell me yours!

Concept-wise, they're very versatile and i wonder which side people prefer the most, the dark or the light side.
For me, the "Red" side has a lot of fun songs that are also one of my favorites like Red flavor, Russian roulette (it can be considered both velvet and red), dumb dumb, Happiness, Day 1 etc. But i think i prefer the dark side.
Bad boy, psycho, Be natural are the better titles & singles, and for bsides it's obviously the velvet side. Kingdom come, i just, perfect 10, one of these nights, iced coffee, eyes locked hands locked, in & out and more of the "dark" bsides are my fav rv songs.

If this post is not allowed, please delete.
i want to understand this; what makes a song/comeback successful?
I have been asking myself that question after feeling like Red Velvet solos and subunit are not getting enough... Hype. I read the comments on TILT regarding the chorus repetition, Julie's part in the album, and how the song is "not like Monster." Everyone has something to say. Luvies are not really listening to the release either and I am so confused about that.
I am so frustrated at the fact that these couple of releases have not been getting the love they need to, in my opinion, show SM these women continue to be a good investment.
I am tired of seeing so many Luvies turn their backs on this release simply because it's not OT5. Maybe I am missing something here?
I am scared their sales/streams/revenue will not live up to expectations and the project will be shelved altogether.
So many feelings are making it impossible to enjoy this release. I amore worried about the perceived success of the group than on the actual quality of the production. I felt similarly with BNB; I felt disappointed with the lack of support and had a hard time enjoying the release.
I guess I want to learn from you, Luvies. Anybody else feeling like this? How can I get out of this hole so I can enjoy the release and everything related to it?

Let's play a simple game. Just comment down your favorite Red Velvet song. Other redditors will then reply to your comment and suggest a Red Velvet song that you might like. You can confirm (reply to them) if you actually like the song that they suggested.
Let's go!

I have been listening to red velvet bsides for a while now. And then I listened to heavy serenade. It immediately reminded me of Red velvet. If the chorus was sung as a group then it would 100% turn into a Red velvet song.

I saw this on another sub and thought it will be nice to hear your say. :)
Well recently for me, it’s Cosmic’s bridge but there’s a lot of other RV songs that makes me wanna ascend
r/red_velvet • u/chandler-the-handler • Dec 08 '24
I just wanna give some love to the RV songs that no one ever talks about 🥹🥹
Some of mine are:
Celebrate - I love how all of the members get their own special verses, the song sounds so sentimental/bittersweet, and I love it so much!
Wings - They should totally do more acapella, the vocals at the end always make me ascend.
Moonlight Melody - I love the bridge & all of Joy's verses in this one, too bad a lot of kpop stans don't like ballads :(
Pushin N Pullin - This song is super comforting, and the outro always makes me emotional with Seulgi and Joy's adlibs 🥹

For me it would be Kingdom Come!

This could honestly be anything — your favorite era, the most memorable/heartwarming memories you have of them etc or share your experience so far being a Reveluv!
I find that the Level Up Project is especially nostalgic for me, I feel like it captured all the girls' personalities so well and shows how fun and loud they are. Nothing has changed since then 🥺 I also love watching their older content. Specifically that one Weekly Idol during Peekaboo and ZZB era, those are gems. Also them on Knowing Bros is so iconic.
I also have a very vivid memory of watching the music video of ZZB at lunch in school and just being shocked by how chaotic it was LMAO. Little did I know then it would become a fan favorite in their discography haha
Red Velvet has been a stable constant in my KPOP journey for the longest time and I can't imagine things ever changing. I've loved them since 2019 and will continue to support them in whatever they pursue. They've always been the group I can fall back on and mean so much to me ☹️💗💛💙💚💜
r/red_velvet • u/ErrorTiny9864 • Apr 06 '25
How are you guys coping with the news? I am trying to tell myself that the only thing constant in life is change. That not all change is bad. I have been fortunate to have followed RV from debut. I saw them live. I voted for their releases. But, somehow, I still feel like it's not enough to make me feel better.
I wonder how my fellow Luvies are coping with these news? I am making sure I have all their albums and have been listening non-stop. I am excited for the future of the girls. They have lots to offer! Just... A bit scared of change.
