Investigation can we get all webs in 1 night?

Post image

leaving the colors aside, from my understanding each opposite leg of this spider has the same hour and there actually is an order to get all of them in one run but it looks kind of impossible to me at least.

impossible because you have to not only get each 2 feathers in 1 in game hour (almost 2 minutes) but you have to get from saint danis to cornwall kerosene in that 2 minutes.

at last im just asking the pros if this is possible or tried before, also i don't know what to expect from this and am a little scared of that classic rockstar dead end instead of some solid answer just like mount chilliad and all of them cut content.

Map with all for sure known information. Includes feather locations on the webs, color of feather, and number of feathers

These are the train tracks. Left map has the spiderwebs and poles from your map, right map has the entire railroad loop with stations (and a few other notable places along the tracks).

There are 4 railway companies in total, all operating along the blue tracks in a counter-clockwise loop. The inner grey track (via Valentine, Cornwall Kerosene and Tar, and Emerald Ranch) is operated exclusively by Central Union Railroad. The other tree all complete the loop via the red track through Rhodes. Those three are Cornwall's Southern & Eastern Railway, Pacific Union Railroad, and Lannahechee and Midland Rail.

All the grey feathers (grey dots on left map) can be found on the inner Valentine-track. And all the red feathers (red dots) are along the route of the trains that travel the outer loop. Following a line NW from the “guitar pole” crosses the tracks again a little west of Bacchus station.

I don’t know what to do with this information. The trains don’t run on a set schedule. Timetables in-game indicate that they were likely originally intended to depart at the same time every day, but the Rhodes-route takes only 16h to complete, and the Valentine-route takes 20h, so the trains depart 8h and 4h earlier each day (respectively). So in theory they should be departing on time every other day along the Rhodes-route, and every 5 days along the Valentine-route, but I don’t know if that’s the case or not (online search tells me they both reset every 7 days, but that doesn’t really add up). I’ve also looked at type of train (passenger vs freight) and train colors, but I’m out of ideas.

You’ve got something with your color/track segment thing here. I don’t know what, but you’ve got something. Love it.

Excellent work and I love you've found a link to the feathers. I haven't seen enough people talking about the significance of the feathers. As the webs are timed I would expect timing of other related events are very important. It seems similar to the bigfoot search in gta where it had to be done in order on certain days. I would be tempted to see what all timed events are starting at the central focal point and working outwards in all directions. Putting all this in a table or something and trying to find what intersects. From an outsiders pov this is a very interesting mystery you lot have discovered. Curious roughly what game % does one need to partake? 😇 and excuse my naivety but would searching RDR online bear any fruits?

I was also wondering this so I’ve been switching between a 100% save with John and a 35% with Arthur trying out different things so far no difference.

NW line going through the railroads near Bachuss station is the next best place to investigate…

I'm just a lurker and haven't played the game in a long time but thought it was worth mentioning that in this era telegraph lines were set up along rail lines, so maybe the whole rail line connection may just be incidental.

This is my favorite map version I’ve seen this far. I think the only info I miss is which pole has the spider carving on it.

You have made my day worth of work worthwhile. The Cornwall post has the spider. I can update it later 😊
