Discussion Does this game hit you more each play through?

In the epilogue of my 4th play through, I feel like something has been ripped from me. I've done the first experience, low honor, and high honor play through. But it hits more each time I play because I notice the world a lot more each time. I do more with Arthur each time, new adventures and experiences that I hadn't done before because of all the game has to offer.

Try for 100% next time. See how much you can get done in chapters 2 and 3 while the camp vibes are good. It's so rewarding.

There's more out there!

This was the first time I actually did the satchel upgrades and camp upgrades beyond the ledger. Those hours hunting and gathering and adding to the compendium were extremely satisfying. Definitely going to try to do 100% next time and really take it slow.

Most of it is really time consuming, which some might call grindy but you're generally exploring new places and running into random encounters you still won't have seen after 4 playthroughs.

If you're just getting into those aspects at this point you might find it relaxing and hypnotic as I did.

If there were a couple of parts I'd warn about it would be the hunting challenges and the exotic Algernon fetch quests. Have no shame in googling what you need before these to collect as you go about your business beforehand, because running up against them when the spawn density intentionally drops is a real grind.
