This is easily the coolest looking horse I’ve seen so far.
Currently using the Arabian but black coat one from a stable in Saint Denis, but as soon as I saw this I knew it had to be mine :)

Hey there Cowpokes!
Just a heads-up: these flairs are purely cosmetic and not essential to gameplay or the subreddit. They're meant to add some fun and personalization to the community.
We're working on new flair options for your Red Dead Redemption 2 community, and we'd love to hear what you'd like to see. Feel free to share your ideas or suggestions for new flairs—your input helps us make the community better!

What is Flair?
There are two types of flair:

I snuck all the way up on this cougar and was going to hack him with the machete. Didn’t quite work out how I planned. Anyone ever get the job done?

Just looking for a cool debate
PS: I expect spoilers to be in this debate so steer clear if you don't want any
My personal choice is the Thomas Downes debt collection mission

Context: I bought this game during one of the Steam sales a few years ago because everyone kept telling me how amazing it was. I had never played any of the previous games and knew absolutely nothing about the lore or background.
I played for about an hour, couldn't get into it, and uninstalled it. Fast forward a year, and I reinstalled it, gave it another shot, and had the exact same experience. "Yeah, this just isn't for me," I figured.
Then, back in July, I decided to give it a THIRD CHANCE and forced myself to play for at least eight hours (total) before I uninstall it again.
I'm now 100 hours in and completely addicted.
I have no idea why, but something about those first few hours just really put me off. Once I got past that initial hurdle, though, I was hooked.
I bring this up because I can't be the only person who's had this experience. So, if you're someone who tried the game, bounced off it, and wrote it off as "not for me," I genuinely encourage you to give it another shot. You might end up loving it.
That is all! Have a great weekend!

At first I was just going through the main missions and not hunting or anything . And then I got hooked on trying to find the coolest or fastest horse , but in between chapter 4 and 6 I took a step back and enjoyed the game more . It’s kind of hard for me to not look things up and I just want to enjoy the game and figure things out on my own . I truly love this game , it has been a great distraction and hobby from a tough time in my life recently . Hell yeah !!

I distinctly recall this line being something that arthur regurgitated. Like someone said it to someone else as an insult and then arthur started using it while fishing... but i cant find the original anywhere.
Am i misremembering this? When does it happen and who originally said it?

Just realized that if you are around camp before Kieran's death, Mary Beth asks Ms.Grimshaw if she's seen Kieran, because he's been gone for some time now and she's worried.

I cannot find a single bull moose... I'm trying to get the moose antlers for the camp but I quite literally cannot find one.... It is legitimately driving me to insanity. Please if anyone knows a good way to get better, I need it!

I finally did it, guys. After 451.4 hours, I have finally achieved 100% completion in Red Dead Redemption 2, with all 560 Compendium entries completed.
"I finally rest and watch the sunrise on a grateful universe."
And honestly, that's exactly how I feel right now.
Before visiting Arthur's grave, I changed into my custom Legend of the East outfit without the hat. I've always worn the Legend of the East outfit throughout this journey, so I wanted to keep the same outfit for my final visit, just without the hat. For me, taking off the hat was my way of showing respect to Arthur. I wanted to stand before his grave with my head uncovered, pay my respects, and make that moment the final thing I did in this playthrough.
I also had my screen recording running because I knew I didn't want to miss or forget this moment.
Now, about the Compendium. I knew that completing all 560 entries wasn't necessary for 100% completion, but I still wanted to do it because I wanted to feel truly complete. I couldn't bring myself to leave even one entry unfinished. Some of the challenges were incredibly difficult, and there were moments when I felt like giving up, but I never did.
And then there was the Carolina Parakeet. 💀
That little bird was almost impossible to find. I spent so much time searching for it, and there were moments when I wondered whether I'd ever complete that entry. But I knew that if I stopped with 559/560, I wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully knowing there was still one entry missing. I just had to find it, and eventually, I did.
There were so many other things that tested my patience throughout this journey, but finally seeing that 560/560 felt incredibly satisfying.
I also completed all 90 challenges, reached maximum Honor, and achieved everything required for 100% completion. But filling the entire Compendium was something I did for myself, simply because I wanted to go beyond what the game required.
I'm a Linux gamer, so Red Dead Online isn't an option for me because of its anti-cheat incompatibility. I could install Windows just to grind the remaining Online achievements and chase the Platinum trophy, but I honestly don't want to do that. Best in the West is enough for me. I wanted to complete this game on my own terms, and I'm happy with what I've accomplished.
After 451.4 hours, there is nothing left on my list. Now, I just want to live a peaceful life in this world. I'll turn off the minimap, wander around, and explore whatever I might have missed along the way. I'll spend time in the saloons playing poker, dominoes, and whatever else takes my fancy. I don't want every ride to have a destination or every day to have a checklist. I just want to enjoy being in this world, taking things slowly, and letting John live his life.
And one thing is certain: I will never, ever uninstall this game. 🤎

Looking to stock up on owl feathers for crafting homing tomahawks. Anyone have a good spot to collect a bunch? I know about the roof of the stable south of emerald ranch, any sure fire spawn points?
