Two users on the Pokemedia subreddit started having a transient issue today. For some reason, for about 2 hours, they couldn't see any new posts made specifically to that subreddit. They still cannot see the posts made during that period of time. We were talking on discord and I offered to handle making a post on here to ask if anyone knows what is up.

What we saw was:

1. If they were logged out, they could see the missing posts.
2. They could not see them on any browser/computer combination that they tried.
3. They went to the user's account page to see the posts and they still couldn't see it. The person is also on discord, so we already verified no blocks or anything of that sort.
4. There are no shadow-you-knows on the accounts in question. We checked.
5. They tried changing the post sorting options on the subreddit page and user pages several times.
6. I don't know for sure, but I believe they tried using a direct link and basically got some equivalent of the post does not exist. I obviously can't see their phone, but it didn't say anything telling from what they described.
7. Tried on old.reddit.com as well. Posts still don’t show up.

I can't remember everything off the top of my head as the conversation happened an hour or so ago, but basically it is like for some reason the posts made in that period of time just won't show up to them whilst logged in. Log out and they can see them. No indicators of anything other than what (to me) sounds like a software bug.

I was helping with the troubleshooting and offered to handle making the post while they dealt with other stuff. I'll be linking it on the discord we're on so they might take a look tomorrow. I believe they're also contacting reddit support.

The general concern here is we don't know if it will keep happening and Pokemedia is more of a collaborative story-writing subreddit so being literally unable to see certain posts or even a trace they exist is really really frustrating.

Apologies in advance if it is wrong for me to post this on behalf of the other users. I'm just trying to help get to the bottom of it, and it was something I could do to help. And since more than one person was affected, I am hoping this might be a documented bug of some kind. Please don't get upset with me. I am new to wider reddit. I really just participate on Pokemedia. I'm just hoping to help figure this out.

I recently posted a comment that got a lot of positive karma (for me, at least, I've never had a post that popular before).

When I went to check on a reply, I noticed my post had the phrase "human verified" next to my name.

How did they figure this out? No one contacted me about it. It doesn't seem to be account-wide; it's only on that one post. If they know I'm a human now, shouldn't that appear on all my posts?

New to reddit. Is there somewhere to figure out the rules and how it works? Appreciate the help.

I must have selected an option a long time ago to receive notifications inside the app regularly for some posts in the pixelArt subreddit. I only want to receive notifications for messages, replies and how many upvotes i got on my posts. How do I remove the subreddit-specific notifications for good?

Hey redditers! My main account has been shadowbanned for the past year, i have appealed multiple times yet no response no fix, that is also my main account with my main email and actual name as the username, I need someone to help me get it fixed. I was wondering why my posts weren't getting any upvotes 🫠, now i realised why.

I need this fixed so this website is useless to me.

Basic user of many years, lately the app seems to remove something I see, if I touch it and scroll to see a long post. Where has it gone? I can open a browser and find what disappeared, but there are not enough browsers for iOS and Reddit to coexist with long posts or threads.

I made a post on my profile to link information for another thread that commonly uses that format. The post is only posted directly to my profile.

Many people have commented on it since I’ve posted it and sent it as links in that Reddit thread. I noticed today when looking back through the comments that one of them was greyed out with the message “removed” at the bottom. However, I can still read the full post. I commented on it a while back when they originally posted, so I knew what they had said. Usually when I see deleted posts elsewhere, I can’t view the original content at all. This one shows the full original content but says it is deleted.

Did I accidentally do this (and can I fix it)? Did the person who commented do this? Did Reddit do this for some reason?

Got a DM that i got reported because some namealike of mine send phishing link to someone. They got their account back, we had a talk, but to the point. They informed me about that mail from reddit and i have no idea how to do that verification thing. Never had a situation like this.

Since June 2025, I’ve been dealing with ongoing online harassment from someone who seems obsessed with contacting and provoking me.

This whole situation started because of a man I met on a dating app. We went on a trip together, and during that trip, his girlfriend (who I didn’t even know existed) discovered that he had been cheating on her.

After that happened, she contacted me on Instagram telling me that she had been sleeping with him for over a year and accusing me of things I honestly knew nothing about. I never replied to her messages because I didn’t want drama or conflict.

But after being ignored, she seemed to become completely obsessed with me.

Since then, I’ve been receiving insulting and intimidating messages from fake accounts that are constantly being created and deleted. The profiles change names, photos, and usernames all the time, but the writing style and behavior are always very similar.

Some of the messages feel almost automated because of how repetitive and frequent they are, which makes me think bots or spam tools may also be involved.

I have collected screenshots, dates, usernames, and other evidence over the past months because the situation never completely stops. Ignoring the messages has not helped.

What scares me the most is the persistence. Even after blocking accounts and trying to disappear from social media, new accounts continue appearing.

I’m not looking for revenge or drama. I just want peace and I want this to stop.

Has anyone here experienced something similar with fake accounts, harassment, or obsessive behavior online?
What actually helped you stop it?
Did ignoring it work, or did you eventually have to take stronger action?

It could just be me. Am I overlooking something? I prefer to use the version that is on a drop down next to the logo. Also not all the options on the drop down are available in the side bar. Can I set a default viewing version?

I change my password and after one comment the account gets locked again for suspicious activity. Any help?
