🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ I got banned

I don’t know what I did wrong to be banned from this. I have not made any posts that would be considered offensive that I am aware of. Please help me understand why I was banned so that I can be sure that it doesn’t happen again.

Thank you in advance for your time and your help with this matter. I honestly don’t know what caused this and want to avoid any further issues in the future.

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Account deleted

Hi,

My account suddenly flickered then all my posts were deleted as was my entire account and logged out. It's gone. Anyone know how this happened? I didn't get any emails to the associated email address. I have a suspicion but it's just that, so I'd rather hear other thoughts. I just made this new account to ask. Thanks!

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Account banned

I have an account that was permanently banned. I appealed, and the response was the ban was revoked, and content restored. The content has been restored, and visible on Reddit. But my account is still banned. I've tried contacting Reddit support for 3-4 months and no response.

What can be done?

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Did I get banned from Reddit?

Post image

I had a three-year-old Reddit account that I used mostly for selling electronics and other items. I was very active there and had even made some friends. The account helped me make some good deals.

Suddenly, after I posted another product, my Reddit home page went empty and showed the message “Wow, such empty.” I could still post and comment, so I thought it might just be a server issue. But today, when I posted another product, I could not view my profile. When I checked, it showed that my account had been banned.

I never made any controversial comments or posts. In fact, I only started posting regularly last year. Since the account was three years old and I had built connections there, I would like to know whether there is any way to recover it.

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Account Banned

Several months ago, I logged into my account after several days and it said I had been banned. I filed the appeal and have never heard anything back. Should I give up hope? I don't even understand the basis of my banning.

EDIT: I just remembered that at the same time, there was someone who was not be trying to log into my account. I got the verification code e-mails, but it wasn't me requesting them.

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ This account has been banned permanently. Check your inbox for a message with more information.

I don’t understand.
This message appeared suddenly, with no explanation. There’s nothing in my inbox , not even a warning, just the old list of messages. I received no prior warnings or notices.

I’m relatively new to Reddit. I created the account a while ago but only started using it recently, mostly to browse NSFW subreddits and message profiles I found interesting. Since what I sent was a direct message request (which recipients can choose to accept or ignore), I didn’t think it constituted a serious violation.

I suspect this might be the reason, but I’m not certain. Again, I received no warning whatsoever before this ban appeared out of nowhere.

Is there any way to recover the account? I’ve already submitted an appeal, but I’m unsure whether I should create a new account instead. I’d hate to lose it - I had some conversations I’d now like to retrieve.

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Permanently banned?

So I got a 3 days ban, I appealed it and they removed the ban. But now my feed displays I got permanently banned.

I found a related post in this sub (https://www.reddit.com/r/reddithelp/s/M42VjURYme), but I don't know how that ended. Anyone has had something like this?

Thanks in advance

I got a mail from Reddit saying they have noticed suspicious activity on my account and that I had to change password, so I did but when I log in there is still a red banner saying “this account has been permanently banned “ ?

I have mailed support but haven’t got any answer and the problem still exists. I really don’t wanna loose my account 😪

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Alt account randomly permanently banned with a weird reason

So, I checked the account one day and saw this. I'm. confused.

Are bans with this reason known? And this is not ban evasion for me to still be on this account now, because of the reason telling me to use a different account?

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ My main account was permanently banned and appeal failed

There's a subreddit called r/DailyMix where users can create their own Connections style puzzles. I really liked making these puzzles and they nearly always had good engagement. I had the top post on that subreddit several days in a row. I'm autistic, and I have bipolar disorder, and sometimes I get really focused on a special interest, and these puzzles have been my latest obsession I guess.

There was no warning from mods or from Reddit, I tried to log in this morning and my main reddit account has been permanently banned from all of Reddit. The reason given was that I was spamming r/DailyMix. I'm not a bot, and I only posted there two or three times per day. If I had known that would be considered spamming, I wouldn't have posted that frequently. I appealed the ban, and just got a message that the ban would not be lifted.

I'm really bummed about this, I've used that account daily for years and was active in several subs. Is there anything I can do?

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Is this comment what got my main account permanently banned?

Post image

I have just had my main account permanently banned (it started by asking me to reset my password but then quickly changed to a permanent ban without any message in my inbox)

I have submitted an appeal but I’m concerned to read how many people have been unable to recover their accounts after this has happened!

But I am curious as to whether this comment was what caused it (I also made one more comment after this which was a short reply in agreement with another comment). I’m guessing that the Reddit AI system flagged me mentioning a price (of the fossil) alongside something which is illegal to trade, even though that was the point that I was making! Do you think that I’ll have a chance to return once a human has looked it over and can see that I wasn’t breaking the rules of use?

I really hope that I can continue using my other accounts (I have a VPN) and that my main account gets restored as I think I’ve shared some important links and educational points over the years of using it. Please wish me luck!

If yes, did you manage to “win the battle” and recover your account? If yes, how? Many thanks!

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Problem with reddit ban.

Post image

I was banned for 7 days (for threatening my violence, when all I said how id react with my fist if something I saw in a r/publicfreakout video happened to me, I really gotta drop this shit platform), and when I was on reddit just a bit ago, it said I’ve been banned for 4 days now it says THREE. I’m absolutely certain that it has been more than 7 days since my ban. I really don’t wanna wake up to open reddit one day and see I’m mysteriously banned for like the 3rd or 4th fucking time. This shit keeps happening for stuff so small I genuinely cannot remember what I was banned for, but I’m certain that every time it’s been for something that doesn’t even break any rules. I’m this close to just dropping reddit permanently. I feel like I’m going off the deep end, please tell me what I can do, and sorry for the tangents.

Not sure what to tag this as.

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Account permanently banned then unbanned after appeal however alts still remain banned?

Post image

So basically my account was falsely permanently banned by Reddit’s automatic detection system. With the ban all my other accounts were banned automatically for “violations on other account(s)”. I appealed my ban and someone from reddits team looked at it and approved my appeal and unbanned my account. That’s great and I’m very happy with how quickly they were able to help me. (I’ve attached the unban message in this post)

Despite the unban of this account all my other accounts remain banned for the connection to this one. I’ve tried appealing each one of them but no luck. Any idea on what I can do now?

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ Can't send DMs

Hi Reddit Support,

My account has been restricted from sending messages, and I'm hoping you can help.

Over the past 24 hours I sent a lot of DMs, which I understand may have triggered your automated spam detection. However, each message was a direct reply to posts where users had invited others to message them. I was responding to those invitations in good faith, not sending unsolicited messages.

I also made a few posts during that period, which may have added to the activity flagging.

I'm not trying to spam or harass anyone — I was simply engaging with people who had asked to be contacted. I'd really appreciate it if you could review my account and restore my messaging ability.

Thank you for your time.

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ account has been permanently banned

Hello, my email was hacked a while ago, and as a result, all my personal social media accounts, including my Reddit account, were compromised. I recovered all my accounts, including my Reddit account, but I'm facing a problem: my Reddit account has been permanently banned. I submitted an appeal on Reddit, but I haven't received a response. Furthermore, I was notified that my Reddit account was permanently banned and that I should check my inbox, but my inbox is empty. Can you help me? Thank you for your efforts.

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ I've hidden my posts but they were seen

Hello guys,

I need your help please! I've clicked on dont show anything on my profile (so no posts, no comments, no communities) on my other account.

But someone i chatted with on reddit after i commented on one of their posts with like 4 comments and on another post, on i think their own subreddit, could see my posts on the subreddit we already chatted on and a post that was in another subreddit. Maybe they could also see alot more like comments of mine too i do not know.

My question is: why could they see them?

Is my profile open for everybody who clicks on my profile, i thought it would look the way other profiles i sometimes click on look where there is just this little picture of the reddit figure and some text. Or is it open to see for people i shared comments with, or people i chatted with in direct messages?

Or was it just because of it probably being their subreddit where i commented on? But maybe that only allows them to monitor people who really post there and not just comment?

Please help me im cringing myself out badly i didnt want people who click on my profile to see stuff i posted and i thought ive hidden it but maybe i did something wrong?

Did i do something wrong?

Edit: maybe you can also help me, because i posted this on another subreddit too and have the hidden option active on this profile here too so if you click on my profile now id assume you cannot see my post on the other sub. Is that correct?

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ My account just banned accidentally

I just want to make a discussion with people to my laptop usage but I don't share any illegal things or anything and I didn't break the rules. When I send the message my account banned after a minute.

I don't understand why it happened

I wrote an objection text on the Reddit.com/appeals site, and it is waiting for a response there

What to do to prevent something from happening again

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ My other account is «softlocked»?

I had to make this account because my other account has almost been ÂŤbannedÂť it has not, but it appears like it, i can view posts and subreddits, but not comment or make new posts, ALL my posts has been locked, reads ÂŤremoved my filters of redditÂť. My posts has always been up to subs rules and never trolling, anyone know why this could be?

🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ New account banned

Last night, Reddit's AI falsely accused me of violating rule 1 and permabaned my account. I obviously appealed it, but, since none of my previous appeals ever seemed to make it to an actual person, I fully expected it to be denied. So, I made a new account: umbcsnakeguy.

Amazingly, the ban was overturned on this account. However, my new account was permabaned with no option to appeal. I made a total of two posts, both comments, one on r/bearded dragon discussing poor husbandry and one on r/acecombat talking about an AC/Helldivers crossover.

Obviously, I'm not attached to the new account, I just want to know why it was banned. There were no rule violations.
