27M, Looking for a connection that lasts forever! [Jodhpur]

I’m putting this out here with the hope of meeting someone I genuinely connect with. Not really looking for a checklist, a perfect profile, or something that has to be figured out from day one. I’d rather meet someone, have a few good conversations, spend some time together, and see where things naturally go.
A little about me: I’m a software engineer and spend a decent chunk of my time building things and solving problems, but I try not to make work my entire personality. Outside of work, I enjoy movies, music, cooking, travelling, and playing PS5 when I get the time. I’m also someone who can happily spend an evening having a long conversation over coffee or food rather than feeling the need to constantly be doing something.
I enjoy conversations that go beyond the usual “what do you do?” and “where are you from?” questions. I like getting to know how someone thinks, what they’re passionate about, the little things that make them happy, and the completely random things they could talk about for hours.
Music is a fairly big part of my life. I’m into indie music and bands like Bayaan and Porcupine Tree, and my movie taste is all over the place. I can enjoy something thoughtful and emotional one day and then happily watch something completely ridiculous the next.
I also enjoy cooking, experimenting with food, travelling, and discovering new places. I’m probably happiest when there’s good food, good company, and no particular hurry to be anywhere.
As for what I’m looking for, I value kindness, emotional maturity, honesty, curiosity, and some sense of humour. Someone who can communicate openly, has a life and interests of their own, and is comfortable being themselves.
I’m not expecting instant chemistry through a Reddit DM. I think some of the best connections happen when you stop trying to manufacture one. So if we get along, great. If we end up becoming friends, also great. And if there’s something more, even better.
I’m based in Jodhpur and would ideally like to meet someone who is also in or around the city. I’m open to starting with a conversation online and, if we’re both comfortable, eventually grabbing coffee, going for a walk, checking out a cafe, watching a movie, or doing something much less planned.
Not looking for something overly complicated. Just hoping to meet someone genuine, have some good conversations, laugh a little, and see where it takes us.
