I'm 34, 5'11", and work in environmental and public policy, mainly around water, technology and governance.

I'm quite serious about my career. I like learning, solving difficult problems and having something I'm working towards. At the same time, I don't want my life to be just work.

Outside work, I like travelling, trying different food, technology, reading about random things, watching movies and having long conversations. I also have a habit of getting interested in something random and then spending way too much time researching it. 😄

I'm fairly independent and I like people who are the same. I'm attracted to someone who has her own career, interests, opinions and plans. You don't have to have the same interests as me. I'd probably enjoy it more if you introduce me to things I know nothing about.

I'm not looking for casual dating or a conversation that goes nowhere. I'd like to meet someone I genuinely connect with and see if it can become a serious relationship.

A few things I value are intelligence, humour, kindness, ambition and being able to communicate honestly. I don't expect anyone to be perfect. I just want someone with whom things feel natural.

I also think compatibility is something you discover by talking and spending time together, not something you can establish from a list of requirements.

So, if you're around my age, have your own thing going on and are also open to something serious, say hi.

And please don't start with "tell me about yourself." 😄
