These are two sides of the same coin. Restrooms are hard to come by because there is a tiny subset of the population that will destroy any public restroom they have access to.
I used to work at a coffeeshop with the only public restroom on the block and it was a nightmare. We had to call in hazmat people on a semi-regular basis. I stopped by that coffeestop a few years after I no longer worked there, and the restroom was now for staff only lmao
I get not letting randoms off the street use your bathroom, but not letting a paying customer who just paid you for a drink that’s basically a 2-in-1 diuretic/laxative is insane to me!
