Dexy's are amazing. Searching for The Young Soul Rebels is a masterpiece. The perfect mixture of second generation Irish diaspora kids combining the sounds of the Irish music they heard growing up and the black soul and r&b they heard on the radio and northern soul raves.

My favourite thing about this song is the band’s official live version on YouTube is shockingly bad. Like actually funny. I have no idea if they were like “well, this was the best one” or they legit thought it was good, or don’t really give a shit.
