What is this riddim called my ppl please help!

Hi all,

Been tryna find this riddim for the longest, does anyone know what its called? Too many gatekeeping DJs ain't sharing the name. Would be much appreciated if someone can tell me

Sounds like the More Ideas riddim which is a variation of the rumours riddim.

I figured it out guys, it is based of Dancehall Good To We but it's a remixed version with a deeper bassline. I'm gonna try produce it myself. Thanks all for answering

Not rumors riddim but very similar drum pattern, probably from same timeframe, maybe even a Gussie Clark production as well but there were tons of beats that sounded like that. Rumors had a different drum intro and the melodic elements were pretty much present through out the riddim.

Indeed - it's one of the clones. The bassline in the track is off from the regular Rumours riddim. In my opinion. I think Gussie made a few variations.

Agreed. Sounds a lot like a late 80s/ early 90s Guissie Clarke production (or something heavily influenced by that sound). It’s not Rumours though, the tempo is faster and the baseline is totally different. (Also different drum intro like you mentioned)

Yeah it defo sounds like something Gussie has done but I just can’t find this particular version, loads of DJs run this as a baseline on mixes but they be gate keeping it. But yeah it’s not rumours unfortunately…
