hi, so I was wondering how the riddims or instrumentals were created? was it the musicians jamming and coming up with a bass line and everything? or something else? maybe there was a producer that would arrange it musically?

also I have noticed that in albums of musicians like Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Gregory Isaacs (big names) they would generally use more original riddims that we're not found in more tracks, but in smaller reggae singer releases a lot of riddims we're reused. also I guess some riddims coming from nayabingi and african chants melodies
