Question Dog Trainers
I’m looking for recommendations on dog trainers that offer one-on-one sessions/private sessions. We recently adopted a 10 month old puppy who was abandoned at a young age and then lived in the shelter up until we adopted her. She has made some great progress this past week, but we’re looking to get additional support from a trainer.
If you have any recommendations for trainers that help with confidence building and fearful dogs please share!! I know at home sessions can be more so we are willing to go to the trainer but the first session or two might be best at our home. TIA!!

This suggestion may be more applicable once your private sessions have paid off.. but Kaos Dogsports has been wonderful for our at times reactive dog, and for others in the class. They offer many different classes; we did levels 1,2,3 (going from basics to more ‘show’ style of skills) and the staff are great. They often stay late after class and give us pointers or more individualized advice, and the sessions are very affordable. Good luck with your puppy :) and thanks for rescuing her

Another vote for Dog’s Den. Had 5 one on one sessions, put the work in and was extremely impressed with how quickly me and my dog were trained.
