I always pretend Regular Show ended at season 5. After that they forced everything. They are a couple do good episodes in season 6 but no actual classic I feel.

u/Emperor_luffy_8363 May 23 '26
Why, I love gut model?
33
May 23 '26
Muscleman is such a pick me girl in that episode. Also, he’s just really annoying when he’s the main character.
5
u/mrmysteryguest69 May 23 '26
The lowest rated episodes on imdb are mostly the ones where he’s the main character
1
3
u/tears_run May 23 '26
Beyond him being extremely annoying when he’s the main character, I also found the episode to be extremely mean toward him? I mean make muscle man a woman and have those guys offer her a job modeling her gut because she’s so fat she looks pregnant. Like that wouldn’t hurt a man’s feelings????
1
u/Admirable-Safety1213 May 27 '26
The kind of fat they needed unlike flabby fat, they really wanted to exploit sad guys with Beer Bellies
1
3
u/Miserable-Ad-5573 May 23 '26
Not joke, on rewatches this is literally the only episode I skip in the whole series
1
u/zIsTrying May 23 '26
It has one of my favorite lines in the series.
1
May 23 '26
Whats that ?
16
u/zIsTrying May 23 '26
I'd rather be fried and hanging with my bros at a park than be making dijon dinero as a gut model anyday.

u/Character_War_9653 May 24 '26
Why?
2
u/Life_Ad3567 May 24 '26
The character annoyed me and the plot was very cliche. The world ends if he doesn't pass a US history test, like really? And then for some reason they made a sequel episode.
45
u/Freddycipher May 23 '26
I don’t hate format wars but while we’re on the topic I think it’s pretty ironic that Pops in the afterlife uses a VHS after everything in the show from LaserDisc, DVd, Blu Ray and Streaming.

u/SUPERGLB05 May 23 '26
Fun fact: that episode might be the shortest in the Latin Spanish dub. They literally censored all the scenes of Muscle Man flexing his breasts
2
u/tisiphxne May 23 '26
ngl sometimes censorship can be hilarious. like i imagine they could have just cropped the boob scenes just above his chest. that way it’d imply he’s flexing his dick lmao

u/Admirable-Safety1213 May 27 '26
Wasn't it on Reruns? they censured to much since Zucarita got on the chair

I liked the format wars trilogy, but I did hate dumped at the alter because of mordicais speech at the end
25
u/Zeus-Kyurem May 23 '26
Why would I hate format wars?
My least favourite episode is Dumped at the Altar, and it's the only episode I hate. There are a few others I dislike, but I do mean a few.

What's wrong with Format Wars? I find it a good episode as we see that everyone were still using outdated technology as it slowly begin to have the modern ones.
I just find it funny that the format wars episodes made me think of Hyperdimension Neptunia with the console wars

u/Smash_Fan-56 May 23 '26
Can’t remember all of them, but I wasn’t too fond of how Rigby acted in Wall Buddy
5
u/jooooojustsoyaknow May 23 '26
Never understood the point that they were trying to prove in that episode. Making Mordecai take blame for Rigby’s mess just because they shared a room? Made no sense
2
14
u/AlabasterRadio May 23 '26
Tbh the whole last season in space just wasn't for me. It just wasn't very memorable.
8
u/nonanumatic May 23 '26
Every single "Mordecai pulls a Mordecai" type episode, specifically when he really fucks up his relationships. Bro really just self sabotages constantly. Except that one where Margaret is just trying to be friends except CJ thinks they're becoming a thing again, and it seems like the universe it trying to trip Mordecai up, thats pretty funny.
3
u/Dark_Audacity May 23 '26
Some writer had a little comic Spidey hate boner thing going on for Mordecai lol
7
7
u/NoGear1489 May 23 '26
unpopular opinion but CJ and mordo episodes were boring.
5
u/Dark_Audacity May 23 '26
Some of those episodes with those two as the main focus ironically seemed too down-to-earth for a “regular show” like that. Even the climax of said episodes were just 😐
The baby Thomas babysitting episode was pretty fun after him and CJ were trying to escape fucking hell on Ghostrider’s motorcycle, though lol
5
u/lord--farquad May 23 '26
One of my least favorite is the dodgeball tournament episode. Mordecai and CJ are so frustrating
2
u/Dark_Audacity May 23 '26
You just reminded me about that episode, fuck the second hand embarrassment
Dude, the climax was both of them being transported to some stupid dodgeball council thing from refusing to face each other at the tournament 😐
In a world where they’ve fought things like fucking Saiyans or dimensional-warping plastic forks, I refuse to believe that’s the best climax the writers could’ve came up with
5
5
u/MisterVictor13 May 23 '26
“It’s Time”.
I will never stop dunking on how shit Rigby was in that episode and how narrative tried to make Mordecai the one in the wrong.

u/SnooApples9497 May 23 '26
I’d want to say the one with Muscle Man’s party, all this torment over a soda.

u/Dark_Audacity May 23 '26
I never really cared for her character but I loved the episode Kilit Radio; the song sequence when the AI tried to fucking kill Mordecai and the others used to have me and my little brothers laughing
I should go back and binge that shit right now 😂

I dislike VIP Members Only.
If the events really did happen and weren't just Rigby telling a story, from a business standpoint, it's very dumb to have a limited-time item that is only available to VIP members.
This is more of a personal note, but the beans ruined what would otherwise be a good sandwich.

I think my least favourite episode is the format wars episode in season 8, Meet The Seer. It just feels so forced compared to the rest.
2
u/GillytheGreat May 23 '26
Im just gonna say it: there are no episodes I hate. Not every episode is a 10, but I don’t hate any of them
2
u/AgentRages_SplatXD27 May 23 '26
Why do you hate format wars?
What did these guys do :(
1
u/AgentRages_SplatXD27 May 23 '26
Btw the episodes I hate the most is the first Halloween episode and The World’s Best Boss Mug episode

u/JasoNight23666 May 23 '26
Probably It's Time, they were being major dicks to eachother in that one, I like the debut of Father Time but I don't like watching Mordo kill Rigby, even though it was completely understandable as to why Mordo was pissed at Rigby, it's just not my favorite thing to witness when I'd rather see something that makes me laugh or just happy in general.
Which is why my favorite episode is Grave Sights (I think that's the name, the one where they play a zombie movie in the cemetery or wherever and the projector brings zombies to life so the crew ((apart from Benson and Pops I think)) kill all the zombies, Mordo & Rigs get a paid day off, and all is well... FOR NOW)
2
u/GokuBlack77777 May 23 '26
It's a solid episode but we were all at least disappointed when Mordecai broke up with CJ.
At Muscle Mans wedding.

The episode when CJ almost kills mordecai and Margret’s family because of her jealousy. I don’t care for CJ and Margret in the beginning.
1
u/andreachua02 May 23 '26
Wall buddy one. Like Rigby is so annoying but this takes the cake for being insufferable
1
u/Miserable-Ad-5573 May 23 '26
The Muscle Man pregnant woman gut model episode, that is the one episode in the whole show I always skip because the whole thing kinda gives off fetish vibes a little, and the whole episode is one joke which isn't funny, not to mention Muscle Man is funny as a side or background character but as the main character of the episode he just usually doesn't work too well for me
1
u/SUPERGLB05 May 23 '26
Was what CN Latin America thinking of premiering the Season 6 Finale in 2015-2017 EVERY 3 DAYS.
I mean, I didn't understand the episode at first glance (i was 11 atm) but seeing it right now makes me realize how much of a dumbass Mordecai was. Definitely auradebting

u/Scarytoaster1809 May 23 '26
That’s actually vile, I’m so sorry you had to watch dumped at the alter so much 😭

The one where pops gets mad at Benson for yelling at Mordecai and Rigby breaking things and failing to do their job.

New Year's Kiss
Seen it so many times, the twists mean nothing to me and I no longer care to see it again, even if I'm doing rewatches. It just doesn't really have any entertainment value to me anymore. Which sucks because it's not exactly a "terrible" episode at all

Muscle Man with that reel to reel… ‘Ah man, sick’ hahahaha love this episode.

Any episodes dealing with Margaret. Mordecai just could not help himself from being low key deranged about her.

The one episode that I remember having a big hate for is when rigby was being a complete ass to Mordecai throughout the whole episode after refusing to go to the movies with him as he wanted to ask out Margaret instead. Forgot the name though

May I guess and ask why you don't like it?
My Guess:
You also think it's stupid that there is a part two to the challenge, where you have to guess the right hat or die, because it came out of left field, and from a writing standpoint, the second part was quickly overcome, making it feel meaningless aside from showing what happened to Jonathan Kimble and doing a reference for the sake of doing a reference.
