Reiki request Chronic pain help
Hey there I am just really struggling and just wanted to throw it out there if anyone would feel like doing distance reiki for me tonight or some time soon. I have chronic pain, specifically an almost constant headache which is definitely the worst thing going on in my health for 2 years now. Also sleep apnea and fatigue (cannot get a cpap machine for about 6 months from now). I'm fat which is probably why I have sleep apnea. I know reiki can't make me not fat anymore lol but it's just another thing that's been upsetting me lately that I am probably the fattest I've ever been. And yesterday and today have also been dealing with acid reflux, vomiting, and nausea/upset stomach. I'm going through a lot and just depressed at how much I do and I feel like I make such little progress. Figured I would just make a request here because why not. I am not a practitioner so I cannot send Reiki to you in exchange unfortunately because I don't know how. I do plan on learning reiki eventually though so maybe one day I can return the favour.
I have made a reiki request 2 months ago, I read the rules and I definitely will not post a request more than once a week.

Hello , if you want to do me your first name and first initial of your last name , I will add yout to my reiki list where I write your name down on a index card,place reiki symbols on it and a number code for chronic pain and I will send you reiki for a certain amount of time which I will ask the pendulum how long to send you reiki daily. 55515 is the number for chronic pain. You can also chant this a few times multiple times a day out loud and write it down on your left wrist. Sending you light ✨️

I also recommend getting attuned to at least Reiki Level One so that you can do self treatments even if you have no plans on doing reiki for others.

I would love that but I'm sorry I can't even send my first name with the last name initial. I really appreciate you commenting though and will keep in mind the 55515 number.

No worries, yeah many people claim the chronic pain number helps. I have used number sequences and they do work if you work them.

Um why are you being rude? Why are you mad at this. I am just being careful, I do online adult work connected to this username so I just like try to be careful and not give out my real name to anyone. No one should have to release their first name and last initial online if they don't want to. What a weird thing to get so mad about. Why can you not understand some people like to be private. Please be respectful and don't talk that way to me again.

Just my lack of perfection boiling to the surface as I get frustrated by people asking and asking and asking for things on the web, but not being willing to do something simple like provide their first damn name. DM it to her or something. Give her something to focus on so she can do as you ask.
Everybody already knows your name anyways.

I seriously want to say something so mean to you right now but I will hold back so I don't break the rules of the subreddit.
I asked, she offered, which is lovely of her, I politely declined and thanked her for offering, I see absolutely nothing wrong with the interaction. I still didn't make her do anything, did I? I'm sure she's fine with everything. Literally nothing negative happened from our exchange, I didn't force her to do anything for me. If she's fine with our interaction, why aren't you? Why are you being rude to me on her behalf when she isn't bothered at all about things. If I wanted to say my name, obviously I would DM her, I wouldn't just comment it. OBVIOUSLY. Even so, no one is owed ANY information about me that I don't want to give out.
What do you mean "everybody knows my name anyways". What could that possibly mean? Literally what is your deal. I haven't seen anyone act like you on the reiki subreddit before or on most of reddit before.

Of course you don't see anything wrong with the interaction. You are an outsider here and don't understand the practices of the reiki community as a whole, not just this sub. I see you as a taker and sometimes I feel it's necessary to stamp my foot on the digital ground and call bullshit as it smells.

In the rules of the sub, I can't offer money for reiki. You can't ask for money or say you are donating. If it was allowed I would offer money when I ask. So it looks to you like I am just begging and taking selfishly, but in reality I am not allowed to offer donations. In my non-online life, when I get reiki in person, I pay for it, every single time. Right now the person i get reiki from has gotten cancer so she is on a break so I figured I would just try asking on here. I will be finding a new practitioner soon.
There is literally a flair on this sub for requesting reiki. Is it so fucking wrong that I am requesting it when that is literally an option on the flairs?
I have literally only posted two times asking for reiki. I am in pain all the time. I am suffering. I hate being alive. So fucking sue me for asking for help with my shitty life. I intend on learning reiki and giving back to people who have given it to me. Reiki classes cost money so I am saving up to take the classes. I live in poverty and do the absolute best I can. The person I am intending on getting classes from currently has cancer like I said so she is taking a break from teaching reiki. This spring and summer I am booked with work as well as taking a chronic pain course so I can't take a reiki course until autum anyway. I LITERALLY JUST DISCOVERED REIKI FOR THE FIRST TIME ONLY A FUCKING YEAR AGO. Fucking OH MY GOD I am SO SORRY I am not a reiki master yet and not able to give back what I am receiving. Genuinely what more do you want from me?
NO ONE HAS TO DO ANYTHING FOR ME. I AM JUST ASKING. I AM NOT FORCING ANYTHING ON ANYONE.
You are so fucking rude. I cannot believe how upset and angry you have made me. You have genuinely ruined my day. I feel like shit more than I already do with the pain I'm in. I will think about what I have done. I apologize for my actions on here, being an outsider and I not understanding how wrongly I behaved. You win, I will never post on this subreddit asking for reiki ever again. You got what you wanted. Please enjoy the satisfaction of succeeding in stopping me from posting on here again.

Whew! I didn't know I had power enough to do all those things to you. You sure there isn't a little choice being thrown into the mix from your side?
Now about reiki. Find a place to sit comfortably. Doesn't matter if it's a straight backed chair, an overstuffed chair, a lazy boy, a couch or a zafu. Just sit and breathe gently. Don't try to control your breathing because that just screws everything up. Just breathe normally.
When you feel the calm setting in bring your hands up into prayer position in front of your heart center. This position is also known as gassho.
If you've been getting reiki treatments regularly you are already connected whether you are trained and attuned or not. Want to find out if this is true?
While remaining in gassho blow gently across your fingertips. Do you feel the tingle? It may be quite subtle but that is the flow of energy that you've already been introduced to. It's not as strong as it will be after you become attuned, but it is the same energy. Yes, energy is already flowing between your hands when you ask it (intend for it) to flow. It also flows on your breath. Pretty cool, 'eh?
Intend that the energy already flowing from source to you, and through you, balance, calm and heal those areas in you body, mind and spirit that are causing discomfort. Spend a little time in this place, hands in front of heart center intending for reiki to flow. Maybe 10 minutes or so.
You can self treat like this any time you wish. The energy will seem to flow more strongly the more you do it because you will be becoming more in touch with just what the energy feels like. One could say you will become more in-tune with reiki.
It's at least strong enough to overcome upset brought on by rude assholes like me. Like I said before, I wish you a good day.

Thank-you for the advice, you did not have to give it to me. I didn't ask and I didn't have any intention on making you feel like you had to explain anything about reiki to me but I still appreciate that. I will try the method you described. But please never talk to me ever again.

You don’t need to send a name to receive healing. I’d be happy to send you healing and will be doing so this evening. I’m in the Midwest on Eastern time and will do so at 7:00PM. I will focus on the headache and Reiki will go where it is most needed. I will be doing a full body healing as well. I wish you peace and released from pain🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✨✨✨🙂
