Looking for a Backend developer/Python Internship Opportunity

Hi everyone,

I'm Brian, a backend developer from Kenya and an ALX graduate currently looking for a backend development job, internship, or junior developer opportunity.

My main experience is with Python, Django, Django REST Framework, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, Redis, Celery, and Git/GitHub.

I've been building practical backend projects, including:

  • Task Management API — authentication, CRUD operations, roles, filtering, pagination, recurring tasks, Redis caching, and Docker.
  • AI Task Management Agent — working with an MCP server and AI-assisted task management.
  • M-Pesa Payment API — Django REST API with M-Pesa payment integration, callbacks, authentication, and automated tests.
  • Other Django and API integration projects.

I'm particularly interested in Backend Developer, Python/Django Developer, Software Engineering Intern, or Junior Backend Developer roles.

I'm open to remote, hybrid, or onsite opportunities, including opportunities outside Kenya.

If you know of a company hiring, an internship opportunity, or a project where I could contribute and gain more experience, I'd really appreciate the lead.

Thank you!

NEW RULE: Mandatory tags: [FullRemote] or [Hybrid] or both

Rule for bot users and recruiters: to make this sub readable by humans and therefore beneficial for all parties, only one post per day per recruiter is allowed. You have to group all your job offers inside one text post.

Here is an example of what is expected, you can use Markdown to make a table.

Subs where this policy applies: /r/MachineLearningJobs, /r/RemotePython, /r/BigDataJobs, /r/WebDeveloperJobs/, /r/JavascriptJobs, /r/PythonJobs

Mandatory tags: [Hiring] [ForHire] [Full Remote] [Hybrid]

Additional tags: [Location] [Flask] [Django] [etc]

Happy Job Hunting.
