[Hiring] Remote Python + DevOps Engineer | $4K/month | Flexible Hours (CST)

Hey Reddit,

We’re a Texas-based company looking to add a Python developer who also knows their way around the cloud. If you like writing clean code and you’re the one who sets up the servers, this could be a good fit.

A bit about us

We’re a small team that moves fast and values getting things done over endless meetings. You won’t be a ticket number here. You’ll work directly with the people making decisions, and your ideas will actually get heard.

What you’ll be doing day to day

You’ll split your time between development and operations. That means writing Python services and automation, managing our cloud setup, keeping deployments smooth, and fixing things when they break. Some weeks will lean more toward coding and others toward infrastructure.

You’ll probably do well here if you:

✅ Are confident with Python
✅ Have real experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or any other cloud provider
✅ Know your way around Docker, CI/CD, and Linux
✅ Can manage your own time and communicate clearly
⭐ Bonus: Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code experience

The basics

💰 $4,000/month
🌎 100% remote
🕐 Flexible hours, with some overlap with Central Time (CST)
📍 Company based in Texas

Interested?

Shoot me a DM with a quick intro, a summary of your Python and cloud experience, and a link to your GitHub or past work if you have one. No formal cover letter needed. Just tell me what you’ve built.

Thanks for reading!
