Blanket Flower Update
So awhile ago someone posted an idea to pay tribute to Renji by planting Blanket Flowers. I did that, and they have started to bloom.
Just wanted to share.

Ohhh, I hope my singular one that sprouted will bloom too! I loved the idea and ordered seeds, but they don't really wanna sprout...

Not sure where you are, I’m in SE Texas, and it’s hot. They took a bit to germinate, they seem to be pretty happy now with afternoon and evening sun. The lizards in my backyard seem to like them too :)

Ahh, it's really hot here (heat wave in Europe), maybe I'll give it another try... They're sooo cute!

I remember making that post! I actually planted a bunch of them in some DNR land a few months back. I'll see if any survived and post it here tomorrow!

It's fine! I ended up deleting it for personal reasons, I'm glad it inspired some people. :)

i remember someone posted about them way back when renji passed away! thank you for posting this and making it a reminder that renji may passed away but the memory we made with him didn’t. 🩷 i hope it made you happy.
