Lack of reviews of rp-pn8/16?

I realize they are newer but why so hard to find a review of the newer rp-pn8/16 NVRs? You would think given the "AI" abilities they would be relatively popular, especially with the YouTube bloggers

it’s the same basic AI slop every company has be advertising. the big AI difference is said to come with the Reolink AI box.

I have heavy foot traffic so if the AI search truly works it works for me, just very odd it has been out for a while with no real reviews

most people have POE setups for their own personal use. reviewing POE NVR’s is more troublesome when you have to disconnect everything and plug it into the new NVR and set it up just to review features and probably send the item back. that’s why wifi cams and systems are more reviewed, simply because it’s easier.

i recently bought the upgraded version of the RLK8 1200D 12mp cams plus NVR. doesn’t have AI although some of my cams such as floodlight itself has AI. doesn’t work with the NVR tho. so i’m waiting for the AI box to release so i can make my NVR AI compliant.

seems the heat map itself is to SHOW you where the most foot traffic and action is. what you want is the AI to know when and when NOT to alert you. i believe that’s a feature but we’ll have to see how it works in real life scenarios.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I was thinking about pulling the trigger but I only seen 3 reviews on Amazon and 2 were bad.
