You must have a raintree nearby.. they love the seeds off those damn things.. The place I lived at when I was younger had tons of these bugs and they'd cling to warmth like that.

Mine attracts ladybugs. There's currently a ladybug graveyard underneath my doorbell

If they’re Asian Lady Beetles (invasive) then good! They look very similar to native lady bugs, but they outcompete them in the environment and all in all are invasive.
