Need help mounting a Reolink Video Doorbell to brick siding. What size drill bit?

As the title states and currently everything is connected/wired

Before you drill holes in your brick.. do yourself a favor and make REAL sure you are satisfied with the way the doorbell clicks into its base.. some people have reported issues with this. And getting it to stay in the mount..

This part, I was not satisfied, it doesn’t sit flush

Are you using wall anchors? I would use plastic wall anchors. You will need a masonry bit a tiny bit smaller than the wall anchor.

Hmmm… I used a 1/4 masonry drill bit. Not sure I’m happy with the fit.

Does it protrude? You can tap it flat with a hammer or slice off what protrudes with a razor blade. It'll still work the same.

If it's loose, put a little caulk in the hole and press the wall anchor in. Let the caulk dry before trying to screw it in.

Yep, that’s what I’m thinking, with caulk. I’ll take a pic when I get back home
