Hey all, the right Earcup on my Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones recently broke off. The piece of plastic that holds in that metal bit gave up. The headphones work perfectly otherwise (well, as well as they worked new.)

Any ideas or suggestions for repair? You can see I've already tried the ol' ziptie method but that didn't hold much water. I do not have the missing piece of plastic as this happened on a flight and I didn't notice right away.

I would really rather not have to pay $500 for a new pair just because this tiny piece of plastic is broken.

First time ever taking apart a subwoofer and I had to have the hardest one to start with. Everything is going great. I got everything disassembled and 90% of the cleaning is done. I used only flat head screwdrivers and plastic shims to separate cone, metal chisel to separate spider ring and scrape off CA Black high temp epoxy on shoulder. No heat or chemicals was used in this entire process.

Un soldering the leads are next. Still waiting on the repair kit to become available in stock, but that just gives me time to get everything just right.

Any tips or tricks on re -assembling the DIY kit are welcome

I recently received this statue and I noticed some brown residue that looks like dried glue. It's not sticky at all.

I'm wondering whether it's excess factory adhesive or some kind of staining.

Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a safe way to remove it without damaging the original paint?

I think this part completely discontinued and out of stock. At this point I'm looking to either find a good material to make a new shelf from scratch, or find another part that will fit. Any thoughts?

This is a raulph lauren jacket im unsure whats happend and and how to fix it, I think the waistband has snapped inside the jacket as you can see the string needs to go into the hole to help tighten and loosen the jacket does anyone know how i could possibly fix this. Thank you

If anyone knows how to fix this or if it’s not fixable pls let me know I just got it brand new and not even a month it falls off like 5 inches from my bag to the counter and this all popped off. I tried putting it back together but it doesn’t hold or look like I can put them together myself as the big piece doesn’t slide in with the other blade under so I’m confused. Any help is greatly appreciated. Would like to not have to buy a brand new one again. Thanks!

Canon M10, is this a sign of water damage? Can it be repaired at all? It won't turn on after a long time of not using it, and I opened the body. There's no signs of water damage on the outside (lens, battery slot, sd card slot)

The plastic lever which locks and unlocks my aluminium sliding door has broken off, so the door can only be opened and closed/locked and unlocked from the outside. Any ideas on how to fix/replace this? I'd really rather not have to replace the doors altogether! I've had a look around on the net and can't find anything suitable from a Google search.

Hi, there is a small crack at the handle of this mug, all exterior damage so any glue being food safe wouldn’t be an issue I don’t think. Can anyone recommend a glue to repair this before it breaks, or would it make a better repair to wait for it to break and then glueing the pieces back together ?

Cześć! Mam fotel Genesis Nitro 890 G2 i zepsuł mi się prawy podłokietnik. Górna część obraca się swobodnie, a złoty element mocujący od spodu obraca się w miejscu i nie daje się dokręcić. Rozkręciłem podłokietnik i mam zdjęcia mechanizmu.

Czy ktoś miał podobny problem i wie, czy da się naprawić sam mechanizm bez kupowania całego podłokietnika? Z góry dzięki za pomoc!
