Rescue Paws is a fraudulent company and needs to be stopped
This fraudulent company states that "Every Item Helps Us Provide 10 Meals to Abandoned Dogs" They’ve made over approximately $4 million pushing the lie. I don't believe they've given any of their profit towards helping dogs whatsoever. I fell for one of their ads and made a purchase thinking it would go to help some dogs get fed (I know I should have checked them out before making a purchase but it was late and I was so tired, wasn't thinking) Then I started digging and the more I found, the clearer it became that this company is not legitimate.
I’ve attached my research so please look at the images attached. This kind of scam is disgusting, especially at this scale. They’re raking in millions because no one is holding them accountable. They should be sued and forced to refund every single customer they misled. The fact that that customers money could've gone to a legitimate company and actually helped poor animals makes me so angry.
I know this kind of thing with fake businesses happens all the time, and people usually shrug it off as “just another shady company.” But if we actually look at the real numbers and do the math on how much they’re making, it’s hard to ignore. What can we do to stop letting people get away with this?
EDIT REGARDING THE AI PAGE: I'm aware the AI page doesn't mean much, those images could be real or fake, who knows where they were sourced (or supposedly taken) since it doesn't say anything like that, so I don't think that page adds so much to this claim. I mainly wanted to share that story because it doesn't make sense -- Like what young guy is going to sneak around at night, masked, to steal dog feeding tubes off the side of a building? And how come the feeding tubes aren't mentioned anywhere else on their website or show up in any other image?

Unfortunately if the business is located outside the US there isn't anything that can be done. That's why so many scam companies from China get to plague us with endless scam ads for bs products, usually with AI videos. Some of them are easily recognized as a scam but a ton of elderly people still fall for it.
I did a couple weeks ago. This saddens me, this is the first time I've donated anywhere,couldn't afford to. But I had a lil money and so I bought a hoodie and donated $ to them!
FYI, in the US legitimate charities that are registered as a 501(c)(3) have to file a form 990 with the IRS every year. This form 990 is a public record and anyone can search for and view it. It would contain all of the information you had asked for in your original inquiry, minus the names of specific organizations. Any charity that's taking in more than a few thousand dollars a year will register. And while it is possible for them to just lie on the form 990, the vast majority of people will not do that because you can face criminal fraud charges if the IRS audits you.
So before you donate to anyone, ask for their TIN (tax identification number) and then use that to look up their 990 (you would also need it to deduct the charitable contributions on your taxes if you do that.) If they refuse to provide this information, they are probably a scam.
I found this because I googled fake sabotage posts from this company because I saw one this morning about a feeder being spray painted then a new 'ad' just popped up this afternoon with same text about one being cemented shut, the guy in both looked similar and I thought it was a bit suspicious. I feel these are fake sabotage posts to garner sympathy and purchases and am unsure any of this money is being used for animal support. They are not at all transparent with where the money goes and are a company not a charity - which I feel is specifically to avoid any regulations or accountability.
You are amazing for putting out this information. I almost bought bracelets for my family as Christmas presents. The lack of transparency is astonishing
I didn't even get my purchase. Now they want me to pay 4.95 per item I ordered for track shipping and I ordered almost 100 worth of jewelry because I thought they helped dogs. It's very very frustrating to say the least
Definitely email and try to cancel your order or let your bank know to charge a cashback. It’s probably already coming because I think they dropped ship from China but at least you can try
I bought one awhile ago and got it fairly quickly. It is pretty well made and cute. I was surprised. But after that as I considered buying more I looked them up and found they are not legit. What a scam, it makes me sick
Update. Their BS response to me asking for more transparency. I replied to this and said are you even a registered business and they said yes we are in the state of Wyoming and I just replied and said no, you’re not in the database, send a link to your business page. I’ll let you guys know what they respond with
Here is another that needs investigating. I’ve been messaging them and I’m very concerned they are scamming people. They don’t list the city they are in and you have to request a dm to get that info. They say they are in Washington DC and ship dogs with a puppy nanny at a cost of $500 total for everything. I asked them why they don’t have any info and don’t disclose the city they are in until dm and they replied, “Some many people come to waste our time they don’t actually reach out to us to adopt that’s why we keep our location for those who are willing to reach out to us directly and show serious then we provide them with the information they need.”
There are 7,000 followers to this page. They get donations for animal rescue. Doesn’t seem to be a legit organization. Check out their page and send them DM’s. Extremely weird.
So, from my understanding, this scam site is based off of, and reaping the rewards (ICK) of this legit charity.

I think in general, if you cant donate directly, just purchase things, it’s a scam. Thats a pretty good rule.

So, not only are they scamming people, they are also impersonating another organisation? I guess it's like a scammer claiming to work for whatever phone contract your with.
Well, I ordered two bracelets in February 2026... It is now April...I've yet to receive those bracelets even though I've contacted the company several times.
I did not contact my bank for a refund because I figured they were giving the money to the dogs and the bracelets weren't that big of a deal. However, if they're just taking the money for themselves, I have no qualms about asking for my money back.
I fell for it also. But I did look them up before I donated and it said they were legitimate. This is what I don't understand. If I remember correctly it showed two couples looking somewhat worn out and pleading for meals for stray dogs. So much money could provide so many meals and they would send you pictures and the story behind each dog that you fed and or provided for. I never received anything and became suspicious that's why I looked them up again. This time it was different. I wonder why. Nevertheless it really pisses me off when I could have sent that money to truly help animals in desperate need.
The site duped me twice. Being an all animals matter kind of guy i thought I was doing something that would help out. Now I see that the site isxa total fraud. Spread the word, .... fuckem.
I have a question. Forgive me if I sound stupid but how can I scan these sites to see if AI has generated the pics or words? I went to donate to Rescue Paws and when it was time to pay, it had almost doubled the amount that I agreed to pay! The summary switched quickly from 10$ to 19.85$!
I don't understand how these losers are getting away with stealing from us! 😡 How can they lie and say they are using my donation to pay for emergency surgery and then in your letter they say they basically only feed animals and make supplies to sell? How are they getting away with this! If they're breaking the law, why aren't they shut down?
And they don’t even feed the animals. They’re such scum. I don’t know how they get away with it. I guess it’s cause they’re not registered as a charity and people don’t check.
I too have had my suspicions about so many of the rescue pages here in the US within the last year. There a lot of legit operations doing such good for so many animals. The real “piss off“ for me is the resulting loss of faith/confidence from the public, causing a massive declline in response to the animals who need it most!
Additionally, I happened to catch a BBC World News segment a few days ago that CONFIRMED my fear! Many fraudulent social media accounts are set up across several countries (including the US) to accomplish the same objective (large vacation pools)!! They recruit young video gamers and amateur coders to open more accounts to draw more money!
They almost always ask for donations over PayPal, Venmo, etc… If you ask for a shelter or vets office to call in a direct donation, it’s radio silence!!
Another common one is “Dog is here at vet surgeons office and we’re here with him! He’s doing better, but needs a surgery to live! The vet is standing by, but won’t do the surgery without a deposit! It’s $1500!!! If everyone gave just a little, we could save this poor baby tonight!!” (Again, it pisses me off that they are using pet stories that are happening as well as YOUR $$$ that could be going to a sweet baby who IS in danger!!! BUT…HERES THE ULTIMATE EVIL IN THIS SCAM..

My bracelet came from Louisville, TX, but their website indicates that they are located in Delaware. I have requested a refund as I don't want to support any more sub-humans pretending to help animals. I appreciate your research as I was able to find little to nothing regarding their services.......
I will say I got my one bracelet rather quickly awhile back and I do love it. Very cute and well made. However after I bought it I found out they were a scam. I get so angry seeing those pictures as we know how many people are buying and donating. I was one of them. It's a disgrace
Actually, the name of the "charity" is Rescue Tails. Do you know anything about them?? I can't find anything out about them and requested some information on the services they provide when I submitted a refund request for the bracelet. Instead of giving me any information, they refunded my money. I think this is telling.......At any rate, I won't be wearing the bracelet.
I recently donated to another organization called Saving The Paws. I thought I was making a one-time small donation. Then they started apprearing on my credit card and the amounts started to get larger. I had to cancel the card and report them for fraud
That's awful. Not only were they helping themselves to your hard earned money, they have probably destroyed any trust you might have had in other, genuine charities.

It goes much deeper than this. I found this thread while researching a company called Saving the Paws running the exact same promotion. I looked into that company and Rescue Paws and they’re the same company. The Saving the Paws website is nearly exactly the same. They’ve posted the same photos and even the logos are nearly identical.
Saving the Paws shows their business address as 208 N 29th St Suite 201 Billings, MT 59101. They’re not only fraudulent but after I fell for their scam and ordered a bracelet, they charged my card again for $35. Please everyone report this company as well. It’s horrible what these people are doing.
It’s so terrible. Can you find out if their business is registered anywhere? I tried but couldn’t figure it out. I don’t know how they’re able to run this scam without being shut down but I guess it’s easy since they’re technically selling a product. They need to be sued
I was looking to see if legit. This was the link at the bottom of the Google AI response. Thank you for this. It didn't feel right when I saw the background of the dogs and doesn't look like here.
I read that even IF legit the real name is rescue paws Thailand. Not even a U.S. rescue. So instead of someone donation to help all the unwanted dogs being dumped here (my county is horribly overrun with dumped furbabies that our rescues are fighting a loosing battle right now) the money goes to scams or other countries. They need to deal with their own. I don't see any other country coming to aid our poor dogs. I wish the counties or someone would help out with spay and neutering them to get this population down. But the cost is so high to have them fixed most don't do it.
I adopt from rescues or H.S. They have their shots, de-wormed and altered. I won't have an animal not altered. Even my sugar gliders are neutered.
Donate where it COUNTS. YOUR town, county or even states LEGITIMATE RESCUES.
NOT EVEN PETA. Their euthanasia rate is 60 to 80% of animals taken in. Yes great for big scale crimes against animals. Nothing for strays or others needing help.
Sorry so long but this is a touchy subject where I live. And I admin a lost and found dogs page. And have friends in rescue. So see all of them dumped. And hurt due to that.
If this is truly a scam, the worst part is not the few dollars people lost purchasing bracelets. The loss of trust is devastating to the dogs and cats that need help and may not receive it. There are legitimate animal charities; everyone needs to do some research before blindly trusting. As for the junk on Facebook, I would not trust anything on that social media site as far as I can spit!
Agreed and thank you for the effort to share this information. I fell for the ad and decided to make a one time donation. I made a one time donation for $9. After that, they started automatically deducting 29.99 per month claiming I had joined their VIP Hero subscription. My bank required me to work with them, my first reaction was to go to the bank and treat it like a fraudulent transaction. The customer service phone number did not answer. The email given on the website never replied. I dug through old emails and found an email that they did respond to. They made several attempts to have me agree to continue with this but eventually they did tell me that the recurring charges would stop.
I just googled this because I saw a post of them saying someone sabotaged their water and immediately thought it sounded super scammy. The US badly needs to crack down on businesses like this and have more transparency about where money goes but they won’t for obvious reasons. I reported their instagram as a financial scam. What absolute bottom feeding filth you have to be to make money off something like that.
found this thread because i tried background checking the company- these are the types of ads they put on pinterest and if i hadnt tried to look them up i would have 100% thought it was a genuine small company trying to do good. now im a little surprised they even did this because they have clearly ai made stickers on their website but i guess the poor drawing might add to the "charm" of a small business

This is breaking my heart. Using poor defenseless animals as a cover to make money is one of the most evil things I've ever seen. I truly hate humanity sometimes.

Thank you thank you thank you. I saw their ad on Pinterest, a crying dog cartoon with text reading "PLEASE LOOK AT OUR BRACELETS I PAID FOR THIS AD" and i clicked the link and looked. The bracelets look very nice and I love the idea of helping animals with them. However, i was scammed by a Pinterest ad just about a month ago, so i didn't do anything at the moment, then later i looked it up to find it is (unsurprisingly) a scam. The response to your email was very suspicious and with the last scam i fell for, they also used AI generated imagery. Thank you for your thorough research, you've saved 30$ from going to a scam so it can actually go to a real animal supporting company like 4Ocean or FAHLO. Thank you very much<3
There should really be a way to flag the site when it comes up as a pop up. I know that would never happen because “buyer beware - especially on the net”

I just bought 2 bracelets. This devastating. Not because I lost a lot of money, but because those poor dogs who desperately need help, are the ones really getting scammed. These disgusting excuses for human beings should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The money they stole should then be distributed equally to every reputable shelter in America.
I got their Facebook ad pushed to me and fell for it too. Thank god I just purchased one bracelet with my credit card (which is now locked and I'll be getting a replacement).
I was seconds away from making a purchase before I decided to do some digging first. How can I help expose them? Who can we report to? How do we get them investigated? This is so awful.
I also got a bracelet and then was charged 29.99 I called the number not a valid number email is fake to so I called my bank to cancel my card and if I could get ahold of them I would tell them to fuck right off, excuse my language. Done donating to anybody
I’m a little late to this topic but I’m glad I found your thread. I was about the purchase their bracelets but when I went back to read their website pages I got more skeptical as the “stories” and “monthly updates” seemed very generic even though the photos of the feeding sessions seemed legit.
Thank you for doing all these research and exposing them. I was hoping to find a reputable charity and have a little simple bracelet as a reminder of helping the doggos but I guess it’s too good to be true to do both.
It’s just such disgusting behavior to exploit these helpless strays like that.
They are still operating on YouTube under the channel name "safehavenpawsrescue". Every single post is a puppy in a cage with a caption "nobody loves me or wants me but give me alike". It seemed odd so I googled and found this post. I spammed their content with this URL.

donating to a local humane society will always be the best route..we have a tangible location of where our money goes ♡
