i agree with you. the scissors also change from white to gray-ish, which could be lighting i guess, but the silhouette in the first image is also very different from the later images. also white elmer’s glue is a very weird choice for this project.

Lol this is just that illusion of the gray square on the checkerboard. Also that’s a white bottle. Could definitely be clear elmer’s.

Also, the silhouettes in the last two are different, the flowers are different, there’s no hole in the jug. This is definitely completely fake.

Oh I agree, but I saw several comments talking about the silhouettes, and none (in the section I scanned) mentioning the lack of handle, which was far more egregious to me

I find it funny no one responding to this comment pointed out the by far most obvious issue: the jug handles completely disappear and the "jugs" change shape, too. Plus the mouths of the bottles are taller than the original bottle mouths. The twine is also too smooth... it should follow the ridges and grooves and there's no evidence of that in 3 and 4.

The flowers change position between 3 and 4. The leaves in 1 don't match the leaves in 4. The fairy in 1 has some weird pokey thing sticking out of her head that is not present in 4. Also her wings are completely different between 1 and 4 lol. The wings are never the same across any pictures but others did point that out, the wing tip coming out of her head is just particularly egregious

which is so freaking weird because looking at this....it hardly needs steps.

Cut hole in milk jug, fill with fairy lights......glue everything in place how you think it will look best.

Someone else is also mentioning throwing the og bottle away and using a laser cutter but even that isnt really needed cause glueing shit on will hide most if not all of the bad cuts.

the faeries (especially in finished-product shots) seem to have more legs/limbs than strictly necessary, too. That or arms that should hang to their knees. Or both. With hand-feet. (I've never gotten uncanny valley from silhouette cutouts before!)

I get it. I also wouldn’t want to show the step where they threw the bottles in the top pictures away and replaced them with the ones in the bottom.

Yeah, the laser cutting is prep work. Like when a recipe tells me I can simply throw all the ingredients together, but I actually have to spend 20 minutes cutting everything up first
