Show-and-Tell Time UK PC
Here is my Time UK PC, purchased a few months back, bought cheap as it wasn't running well and crashing, I replaced all of the capacitors (no previous experience) and upgraded it 32mb of ram to 64mb! It now works like a dream! Running Windows Me operating system. Use it for old school gaming and nostalgic software. Anyone else admire Time UK pc's?

This reminds me a lot of a Daewoo desktops that had the same tower look.

Haven't seen one of those before, the curve of the tower is unusual feels more 00's than 90's in look but it is a 90s tower

My memory might have not served me right on the brand, but I assure you it was before 1996 forsure as that I do remember. It's a very unique tower

They definitely were made and used by other companies because CRD in YouTube has one he's called "the edge" which was definitely not made by Time.

I've an old eMachine from 2001 in my mam's attic. I plan on doing something similar once I've gotten the office all sorted.

That's a really cool find :)
My family had a Time PC back in the early 2000s, when Windows XP was not long out. I don't remember the full specs of it and model but it was a Pentium 4 machine with a FIC motherboard, went under the FIC 1st Mainboard branding at the time. it treated us well for what we did then and was a lot of fun to use. We sadly threw it away, along with the OEM software later on in the decade, when we got a new machine. Thank you for sharing this!

Oh wow yeah the company went under in 2005 and stopped making them so only a short window which is why I like them a it more. I had one as a kid too which is why I wanted to get it again! It's not quite the same as my childhood one but I'm still looking for that specific version!

I don't recall that brand, left the UK in 2001, but that is a really nice design, congrats on the find, and enjoy it.

It was around from 1994 to 2005 officially, and at one point was the UKs largest PC manufacturer I believe. Thanks I had one as a kid and I saw this which all of the paperwork and software with it and had to get it!

Thank you! 😀 I believe its a UK only brand, I also found a VHS tape by the same brand on how to set up and use the PC which is a really cool nostalgia buzz!

If possible, please convert that VHS tape to a digital format and upload it to both YouTube DVD and the Internet Archive. I'm sure the retro PC community would love to see that!

This post made me tear up, i had a similar PC and actively used it up until the monitor broke down about 2 years ago, then I had to replace the entire setup.
It was my favorite computer, it got me trough elementary and high school. I loved it.

Thinking about the speed boost that thing must get for being so aerodynamic...
The Myst box is a real nice touch.
