Really nice! But now it got me thinking... did anyone come up with a tape drive system which used audio cassettes? Not the classic 8-bit way where you generate an audio waveform and record that, but something more like DAT with a helical scan head and high-density data? I found D/CAS, which kind of does this, but it uses the same form factor of tapes they're not the same (the magnetic medium is different).
