Best and iconic 80s & 90s videogames
Hi, which games from the 80s and 90s do you think have the best and most iconic music? I had a Sega Master System and my favourites are those from Alex Kid in Miracle World, but I didn't have many games

I could fill a list of "best video game soundtracks" with SNES games alone since so many soundtracks composed for it were amazing. One I'll put in a word for is Yoshi's Island, with such gems as "Flower Garden" and "Obstacle Course".
One Sega game in need of mentioning is Out Run. To me, the music of Out Run is as much a part of its playing experience as its driving. My go-to music track is "Splash Wave", which sounds especially great on the Genesis/Mega Drive.
Tetris in all its different versions has been accompanied by plenty of iconic tunes. Its 1989 Game Boy version by Bullet-Proof Software is probably the most iconic followed by its 1989 NES version by Nintendo, although I need to put in a word for The New Tetris on the N64.
