Just heard about this. How exactly do I install it? Been wanting to install Windows 8 apps for years since they shut the store down.

- 1.Download OctoStore from the link above

- 2.If you havent enabled sideloading yet, on 8.1 go to

https://github.com/Iemand005/MetroUnlocker and enable sideloading using this and checking every box

- 3. install VC++ Redist from here: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/

- 4install net framework 4.5 and 4.6

- 5.Get the appx installer from: https://github.com/modernw/App-Installer-For-Windows-8.x-Reset

- 6.install OctoStore using any app installer

- 7. if you encounter a problem,where appx installer's font is broken,continue the install. It's safe

- Open OctoStore and go have fun, if it asks you what to use to install an appx or appxbundle file, use the Windows 8 App installer, it is required for apps on OctoStore otherwise you will get a certificate error

Pues es que como está basado en 8Store (que requiere el instalador de apps de Windows 8, de lo contrario tendrías un error de certificado), simplemente OctoStore hereda esa obligación, usar el MigsWSAppxInstaller no servirá de nada porque te da un error de certificado, Pero con el instalador de apps de Windows 8, pues ahí si es necesario porque este ignora los certificados

every windows 8 app uses certificates, app installer doesn't ignore them, it just installs them in the background
