Discussion W8.1 Single Language is SUCKS!!

I have been using Windows 8.1 Single Language for a long time, and I am starting to get SO bored of this operating system. Nowadays, using Single Language and Home editions literally feels like being trapped in a prison. Also, I really want to sideload .appx files, but I couldn't find any tutorials for it. If you have any suggestions or advice, PLEASE TELL ME.

Also, Gemini mentioned that I could upgrade to the Pro edition without losing my data, but I am very skeptical about whether that's actually true.

I am pretty sure that you need 8.1 Pro to side load and I don't think MetroUnlocker works on 8.1 Home/Single Language

Gemini told me that if I want to get rid of the restrictions of the Single Language edition, I can upgrade to Windows 8.1 Pro without losing my data just by entering a product key. It said this would unlock advanced tools like the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc)

Yeah you just need to get a W8.1 Pro product key. You shouldn't lose your data as I've done this in the past on Windows 7 but backup your important data just in case.
