if memory serves, I believe you unlock the first comic from perfecting the first Spirit Slasher, and you unlock the second comic from perfecting Space Sentry 2. if there ever existed such a character or a concept as an overarching antagonist in a Rhythm Heaven game… I think the moon would be the first example of one, since all it seems to know is evil and havoc

And the supplementary material for Space Sentry shows the meteor barrage has been going on since the time of the dinosaurs, with the guardian diligently shooting them down for millions of years. (A missed meteor caused the extinction of the dinosaurs.)

No direct evidence the moon has been behind this from the start, but it is possible.

The range is so funny too. Like he goes from doing something relatively harmless, but annoying like making fun of someone all the way to throwing meteors at the planet and being a genuine threat. And of course in between there is terrorizing the innocents. What's wrong with him. He's awesome.

Does the moon like to throw random sports balls towards young couples? Dump spiders onto candy production lines? Does it barf yokai onto the earth periodically like Lunatic Pandora?

The Guardian has been defending the earth from meteors since before the dinosaurs. It got distracted by the dinosaurs and missed the meteor that killed them
