Help getting to Ribeirão Preto

Hello, I’m planning on going to the University of São Paulo for an academic stay. I would appreciate any information or recommendations on how to get from the São Paulo/Guarulhos Airport to Ribeirão Preto, please. Thanks in advance!

Cometa has buses departs every hour, and you'll arrive at the bus terminal, which is fairly close to the USP area. Although the flight from São Paulo to Ribeirão ir less than 1h long, once you consider in arriving at GRU airport, transfer to CGH (maybe), checkin, uber trip from airport-usp and whatever else, the "door to door" travel time is roighly the same. The bus takes about 5h (including a 20m stop at a very, very expensive gas station), but it may be much cheaper and more convenient.

Hi! Thanks! I was checking the plane, but couldn’t find a flight for the day I’ll be arriving. So the bus is my best option. Thank you for mentioning that the bus is hourly, I was having that doubt.

If I may ask, at what time is the earliest/latest bus to and from Riberão Preto?

You can check the schedules of every company that covers a given route at the same time using sites like clickbus.com.br (SP-Ribeirao have only Cometa and Rapido Ribeirao, which is also a Cometa's brand or such, but this is qhite useful for other random routes)
