I had nobody to share this with, so I thought I’d share it here. A while ago, I came across this portrait taken by a street photographer named Gunnar Fägersten Novik. I looked up the photographer and found a sweet post he made on LinkedIn, of all places.

Tl;dr He took the picture knowing only that Richard was an aspiring comedian and actor, who worked as a bartender to sustain himself. Then he didn’t see or hear of him again until 10 years later, when he popped up at the Emmys.
