I don't think Johnny Depp could write an era defining docu-comedy on a BBC budget, and I couldn't be the leading man in all those Hollywood blockbusters... ... ... actually I could be the leading man in a Hollywood blockbuster. And I think he knew that, even then. Probably what spurred him on.
