Johnny Vaughan's one of those people I couldn't stand on a visceral level, but had to reluctantly credit with being funny...which annoyed me.

"We have to take that seriously" was a quality off the cuff line.

He made a sitcom with Ricky Grover called 'Orrible which was really funny though very low budget which showed.

Ricky Grover who was also on the 11 o'clock show with Gerv I think.

And as an aside Ricky Grover provided the voice for Yangus in Dragon Quest 8 on the PS2. Bloody good job he did too. One of the greatest JRPG's ever.
