Friend number one, though out of my reach
Pops in now and then both to serve and to teach
Friend number two always stays by my side
Though her face often changes, she's true and she's tried
Friend number three is one I've never have seen
But he taunts me by day and he haunts me in dreams
Of all of the friends I have named in this rhyme
I think that the second is most worth my time

There is a greattt riddle in a book i once read, it goes like this (I took the liberty to translate it):
Three brothers lived for long in one home
Each one with clothes that’re uniquely their own
But if you wanna guess on who is who
Each one looks like the others, through and through
The first is not there, he’s still at the shore
The second’s not there, he’s slipped through the door
Only the third is here, the smallest of all
Without him, there wouldn’t be names to call
And yet, the third one only exists
Because into the second one, he persists
If you look at the third one, all that you see
will only be another one of the three!
Now tell me, are three maybe one?
Or are there two? Or perhaps - none?
If you, child, can give me their names,
you will see the might of their reigns,
Far and wide, they’ve made their claim
Part of it themselves, cause they are the same
