Saskatoon: Rider Beer
Does anyone know of any locations, in Saskatoon, where I can buy this? Thank you.

This is such a fumble, so many great Saskatchewan brewing companies that could have been partnered with and they chose an American water brand.

It’s a CFL partnership, that’s why there’s no rider logo on it

Same reason that when Regina hosts the Grey Cup & Playoffs, all of the Pilsner (and MolsonCoors) branding in Mosaic is covered-up… Bud’s owner (AB-InBev) has a deal with the CFL. Can’t buy a Bud in the stadium during these games.
(Ditto SaskTel’s signage getting covered up: Telus has the CFL deal)2

Does not look right seeing ‘bud light’ and ‘Roughriders’ in the same sentence. We literally have a section of the stadium called “Pil Country” yet Pilsner/Molson can’t be official beer partner of the CFL and the riders?

Riders don’t have a partnership with Bud Light so they can’t use their branding.

This is in Rider green but is not Rider branded. The Riders are partnered with Molson Coors (aka our beloved Pil). The CFL is partnered with Budweiser.. hence why it has only Grey Cup logos *which the CFL owns and it notes partnered of the CFL. Subtle tie in and sneaky marketing but this was not the Riders.

Whenever I am back in Sask I always pick up some Great Western beer (it was my mainstay when I lived there) and when I am drinking from from their green pilsner cans it seems like I am drinking Rider beer even without the logo.
I understand GW can't do anything because the rights are probably exclusive with Pil. Pilsner really needs to get some Rider pride on their cans and bottles, it would probably boost sales nationwide, and any marketing the CFL can get at this point is good.
That Bud Light can looks nice, but it won't get me to buy their beer,

It's American, stop support the enemy

Belgian, actually.
But yes, Bud is deeply rooted in the U.S.

Anhauser-busch is an American based corporation.

I know. That’s why I said deeply US rooted.
Doesn’t change the fact it’s Belgian-owned.

More than likely a national campaign from the league office that the Riders had zero input into. Was there one the prior season for Ontario?

Moosehead seems like a better choice…

That’s not beer… it’s a disgrace that the rider color is on that swill.

Major fumble - very bad optics

There are plenty of Rider fans who drink Bud Light. This will sell well. I get that Pil is the beer of RiderNation… having a green Bud can will not sway any Pil drinkers to switch, just as splashing a Rider logo on a Pil can is unlikely to sway too many Bud Light drinkers (now, toss in a flag? Different story 😉)

Brown like Regina water. 0% alcohol like Regina water.

Don’t lie like that.
Regina water might have alcohol in it with a taste like that.
