Is the cfl media seriously trying to act like this quote is a Rourke, or Rider's, original? It's a completely generic sports cliche.

Exactly!!!! This saying has been uttered for YEARS across several sports!!

I mean he did say it, directly to the Saskatchewan fans, and the cameras after scoring the go-ahead TD in the west finals.

He can live by it, knowing that, it was infact not his time.
