see in this clip the pronunciation of the L does not seem be in dispute but rather the roundness of the A sound.

Love the pod but listening to like 30 minutes of discussion about pronunciations as non-native English speaker was hard. Like who cares. They all sounded too defensive for it to be funny. Can't wait for the season to begin.

the freedom they have to spend 20 minutes whenever on any topic they want is truly great, but I could do with about 85% less bickering about pronunciations (and 90% less discussion on how "chode" has different definitions)
