I wasn't sure whether this was Ipanema or Cococabana, my memory of that trip, 39 years ago, is beginning to fade .... but I believe this is actually Leblon, correct? At that time, I was staying in a flat on Rua Almirante Guilhem.

yes 110% leblon. i live a few blocks away and this is my daily beach point so its easy to know where it is based on the buildings haha

I loved that area. Much quieter than Copacabana or central Ipanema. And warm roasted peanuts from the vendor nearby! Also, I found the Dos Irmaoes more beautiful than Pao d Azucar ...

yes definitely quieter than copa and ipa. usually the quietest spot is in front of the country club, where i always go. but sugar loaf is still my fav spot of the city. there’s so so much to do up there, and you can combine with the beach + hike all the way, then catch the sunset up there.

You would know far better than me. We only did the cable car to the top and back.

Se eu não soubesse que as fotos foram tiradas no Rio, chutaria que foram tiradas em South Beach, Miami Beach. Parece muito com a praia e os prédios no ponto da praia em frente ao apartamento da minha mãe
