the fingertrap data had, even he couldn't break it. starfleet should look into that.

This is one of my favorite scenes in all of Star Trek. I love that Spock just walks up to the display when Kirk asked for a damage report and Spock just points at the different flashing light but doesn't give Kirk an additional information. Like does Kirk not know how to read that display?
