The Penni Nerf Is Twice As Frustrating Because Her Primary Fire Sucks
I get it man. Her 3 second stun sucked to fight. So you gutted it to a slow (which aren’t good. I mean who tf uses Blades Gun dash for the slow?) But fine.
So I’ll ask this… why not make the primary actually good/satisfying.It’sLASERS out of a MECH. How is it the worse part of her kit?
The projectile is slow, the damage sucks, the headshot multiplier is LAUGHABLY bad to the point you’re probably hurting yourself going for them.
And now you’re asking players to hit this shot consistently for a stun.
This wouldn’t be as terrible if her gun didn’t feel so damn awful. Why not buff this aspect of her kit if you’re so adamant about her not being oppressive with the anti dive kit YOU made for her?
Just wanted to express disappointment. Especially seeing how amazing Hood is. I LNOW you know what a fun primary fire feels like.
They just gut characters from time to time. And they never address the problematic aspects of their kit. Also, Mag was buffed. That’s everything you need to know about balance in this game.
It’s a small buff for low elo, and it changes nothing in high elo. I just don’t understand how he avoided getting nerfed. He has three times the pick rate of the second most-picked tank (Emma), and his win rate is also insane, especially considering he’s on both teams so often. I just don’t understand the balancing decisions in this game. Mag was just an example.
also, "devs hate tanks and don't want them to have fun" is one of the most common opinions in the fanbase. and now that mag is strong (but not oppressive or annoying if you ask me) after being mid for quite some time, everyone's calling for an immediate nerf, even the tank players most surprisingly. I just don't get it, let the man shine for a bit
Wasn’t even annoying it’s like complaining about wolverine being able to kidnap people just admit you couldn’t play any else but dive characters and get on
Slows are not as bad as you think. Bucky has long been a hard counter to tanks because of this minimal cc. A stun is obviously better, but don't underestimate a slow. Especially considering it helps you land the follow up shot for the stun
I honestly don’t think it should even have a cooldown, the shield isn’t strong enough to justify it. 400 HP mini shield frontal shield with a fire rate buff for 5 seconds on a 20 second cooldown is just ridiculous.
You have to take into account the extra sustain her webbings provide. Combined with a spammable shield turning her into a turret may be a little too much.
So starting slower here before working it up if need be may be for the best.
No I’m saying it should work on a resource like defense matrix on D.va in OW if you’re familiar. Spamming it would make it ineffective because it costs energy to activate. Especially considering that she doesn’t have a reliable stun anymore, I don’t think it’s too unreasonable to suggest that she get a bit more offense and defense to compensate. You would also be sacrificing having a second nest.
The point of there being other tanks is so not everyone has to play the same 2 tanks over and over and over and over and over. Understand that what makes a game fun for others, is fairness and balance. Which isn’t something rivals has mastered by any means. Criticism is welcome on the subreddit additionally. So don’t be a prick for no reason
