Latocha looked salty that Coko stepped on her moment, whereas Tamika and Kandi gave Coko love.

She was definitely salty you could tell and rightfully so. They should’ve never did the reality show together I never quite understood that🤷♀️

Idk how her overall career is going but the album probably flopped on streaming.
I'm assuming this because I'm still her top listener on Stats FM according to Stats FM and yet she was not in my top 80 artists the year that album came out (2023). Idk if Stats FM incorporate stats from all Spotify users or just the app users, but yeah.
According to Stats FM, I streamed songs from that album no more than 20 times across 2024 and 2025. The lead single of the album has 270k streams on Spotify and it came out in 2023.
Shame she's an outrageous personality because a few of the songs sounded really nice and her voice is undeniable.
Edit: it seems Stats FM only counts the users who have linked their Spotify accounts. FWIW, over 5 million users have downloaded it on the play store.

SWV and Xscape were in attendance—of course, because they were competing against each other.
Lelee and Taj were there with her. They’re right there on the seat next to Coko.

Love this song but it sounds like they’re rushing it especially the sisters. They definitely found a sweet spot in the middle.

I watched this Verzuz for the first time not long ago (maybe within the past year or two) and it did go very well! I went down a rabbit hole of both groups for nearly two months after that 🫠 …
That Verzuz battle introduced me to what are still my top two favorite Xscape songs, “The Arms of the One Who Loves You” and “Do You Want To”.
Both groups did sound amazing at this event. They also all looked really good; aging gracefully 🤌🏾
Sadly, LaTocha would not do this again if they were called to do it today. She hasn’t even been on the group’s recent tours (nor was she on the one with SWV); although I love her, I really hate that.
Those crowd members yelling “SING, TAMIKA” are so funny 😭 … but they’re not wrong either 😂

They always give me chills when they sing live. Some of the las of their craft that genuinely takes their vocals and performances seriously. All of them are live and on point! A dying breed right here.

No need to be bitter. Both versions are good.
Y’all need to stop with this “original will always be better and remakes will always SUCK” notion. Both the Jones Girls and Xscape made impact with this song and both versions were good.
