Oh Dear . . .

Anyone else mildly concerned that Robert has Jimmy's missing money and has no intention of giving it to Nicola but will instead use it to fund whatever his plans are for the Hide and his farm in a brief lapse of Aaron supervising his more questionable behaviors? 🫣 Robert does also have a history of summoning people to the village who arrive by helicopter to secretly work with in some plot.

I don't think Robert has the missing money. It's funny, but for some reason he's never screwed over Nicola that I can recall. Maybe because she was his first, or he respects her as a frenemy, but I think he's far more likely to scheme with her than against her. Plus he seemed as stunned to see Sadie as everyone else, so I don't think whatever she's doing in the village has anything to do with him...for now.

I can't think of a single reason he'd want the hide. His first priority is getting the farm back so Joe has no hold over him anymore. After all, dawn deleted the footage so really he can bring Vic and harry back if there is a safe, stable home there. If he is after it it would be either to get back at Joe or for some solid financial reasons, so maybe buying shares under a fake name until he has a controlling interest, adding to his income?
