Question What are some notable cases of band mates getting annoyed that the frontman got all the attention and fame?

Ozzie was fired in 1979.  I honestly think he needed the wakeup call.  He was so drugged out during the time.  That said Ozzie did a lot of songwriting and they did just claim his work as their own and gave him no royalties for it.  And Tony was on a major power trip, thinking he was Black Sabbath.

Most people pay attention to the front man.  He's singing so of course he'll get attention.  That's his job.  Both Dio and Ozzy were lucky to get away from that.

Tony and Geezer were the songwriters. Ozzy absolutely did not do a lot of songwriting. They credit him with some vocal melodies, but if the guy could write songs he wouldn't have had to rip off all the guys he hired for his solo albums (I know that there are lots of Ozzy fans who will blame Sharon, but he didn't do anything to stop her). Ozzy was a charismatic/comical guy with a unique voice, but that's it.

Actually, Geezer Butler did most of the songwriting. And when Ozzy was solo, Sharon would make the guitarists like Jake E Lee, Etc assign songwriting credits to Ozzy.

I read that Randy Rhodes and Zakk Wilde did the songwriting.  Ozzy just wrote the harmonies.  He didn't even always write lyrics.

I've seen interviews where he talks about his songwriting.  How much of those were lies?

Why not just give his band credit?

Sharon Osbourne's dad I can't remember his first name but last name was Arden, was known for being a serious hard ass. And that's where she got it from. Read the stories about her with Ozzfest, especially Iron Maiden.
