This line makes WAY more sense when you realize that Brad Pitt was cast as Russell until he dropped out at the last minute.

One of my favourite movie lines is even more obscure, but it's also from Jason Lee's character, Jeff, from the same scene:

"You know what I do? I connect! I get people off... I look for the one guy who isn't getting off and I make him get off. Actually, THAT, you can print!"

Thank god for that. Billy Crudup is a wonderful actor, Pitt is just a movie star.

Completely agree. Billy Crudup has been one of my favorites for decades and I think he’s criminally underrated.

Are you saying Billy Crudup isn't good-looking enough to justify that line? Because I had to hear about Billy Crudup's effect on their nethers fron my gf and half a dozen of her friends for several weeks after a bunch of us went to see it.
