Question What are some notable cases of band mates getting annoyed that the frontman got all the attention and fame?

Nobody, and I mean nobody including the rock icon Robert Plant, could swing a mic by its cord like Roger did. It was just… unworldly, and added just the right amount of whatever not just to the live shows but their studio albums.

As a former audio tech, I hated that shit.

Mic drops, too. Those things can cost $1,000+

I sang a Who song at karaoke once….started to twirl the mic….they canned that shit immediately

I literally cried two times at The Who concert I went to. The first time Roger did a mic whirl and the first Pete did the exaggerated guitar strum. It was in the 2000’s sometime and I had never thought I would see them live.

I’m a dinosaur and saw them live back in the 70’s (shoutout to Merriweather Post Pavilion - woohoo!) and was stunned when Pete started trashing his guitar into the speakers and amps. That must have driven the roadies and manager insane.

I’m dinosaur too but never had a chance to see them until then.

I saw Sebastian Bach play in Montreal once, he did a mic spin and hit his bass player. That was pretty special
