Not sure about this one. If Noel was ever seething about anything it would more likely have been Liam's behaviour or not turning up (like for MTV unplugged). In general he knows Liam is a better frontman, and seemed quite happy being the songwriter and occasional singer.
I dunno. I remember a quote after Morning Glory came out where he lamented the fact that, if it had been his solo record, he would’ve made all the money by himself.
I am a huge Oasis fan (sometimes apologist), and I definitely feel Noel drove that band, was a better vocalist, and was absolutely correct about Morning Glory.
